Hi everyone,A big thanks to all who made submissions! We appreciate your interest in voicing Shale! This role is now closed. We will be in touch with candidates once my co-creator and I review all submissions and make our shortlist.
Payment: If you are on Nexus Mods, we can offer a percentage of donation points that you can use for a PayPal payout.

Who we're looking for:
- Someone who uses Discord (for messages).
- Reasonably responsive. We understand we're all busy.
- Passionate about diversity and inclusion due to the nature of the mod (romance between two same-sex followers).
- Someone who has a good vocal and emotional range.
Notes:
- You will definitely be credited!
- If you see lines that repeat but the track names are different, that's on purpose. It means the delivery can be different. :)
- We are still actively writing Shale's lines but wanted him to have a voice sooner rather than later. This means, all his lines will not be ready to record right away. We're taking our time with this.
- Katana - Journey in the Shadows is a passion project, and we hope to share that together. <3

- We are anticipating about 500 lines or so. Please be ready for the possibility of less or more, but nothing too crazy.
- Voice type: Warm, velvety, and expressive
- He's a charming and roguish, 34-year-old spellsword who used to be a guard for a criminal organization, one that he didn't want to be part of, and is Katana’s friend.
- He is not from Skyrim but ended up there by going through a portal from another world.
- Personality-wise he is also easygoing and good-natured, but does have his serious and angry moments. He is not one to hide his emotions but isn't melodramatic either.
We‘ve found that an American accent suits Shale best, so we‘re narrowing down auditions to those with an American accent – something neutral would be perfect! Feel free to resubmit if you‘re interested!
