Slightly Insulting, a YouTube Channel specializing in Machinimas with 12,290 subscribers, is excited to announce an open casting call for our upcoming project airing on the channel SKULL AND SPIDER.
We are seeking talented voice actors to portray various characters not only in this film but also in future Splash films and shorts. We are looking for committed individuals who are willing to be a part of this long-term project, contributing their voices to our franchise beyond just this particular film.
If you possess clean recording quality, without audible pops, static, background noise, or room echo, we invite you to audition. We require voice actors who can deliver serious, cinematic performances, capable of conveying a wide range of emotions. A genuine interest in the project and its characters, not just for this film, but for the franchise as a whole, is essential.

I'd like to remind everyone who auditions that this project is one of passion and something long term for anyone who's looking for more voice acting experience, and we understand we'll likely get several great auditions for each character, and while we can't cast everyone we'll really appreciate all of you to put your discords with the auditions or DM us on this account in order to keep in contact and offer you roles in other projects later on if you aren't casted for this one

Evoker is no ordinary illager. Using his unparalleled wit and dark magic, he seeks to overthrow the biggest city in the Overworld with an army of illagers and Vexes at his command. We need a voice actor who can bring out the full range of his complex personality, from borderline insanity to a calm, cool, and collected demeanor.

(A moment of vulnerability, reflecting on his motivations) Do you think I chose this path lightly? Every decision, every sacrifice, was made for a reason. I was cast out, left with nothing. Now, I will take everything from them.
Princess Annie is thrown into chaos when the Evoker plans to overtake Beacon City. Though naturally shy and reserved, she reveals a core of determination and strength when it matters most. We need a voice actor who can convey her grace and elegance, as well as her inner resolve.

(Determined and strong, ready to face Evoker) You may have your dark magic, Evoker, but you underestimate the strength of a united heart. I will fight for my people, and I will not let you take our home.
Georgina is a supremely intelligent ally to Skull and Spider. While her role in this film may be small, she has a significant future in our universe. We’re looking for a voice actor who can bring out her nerdy, comedic, and fun personality.

(Comedic and sarcastic, reacting to a situation) Oh, sure, just leave the brainy stuff to me while you guys handle the baddies. No pressure or anything. I only have to rewrite the laws of physics before lunch!
(Fun and encouraging, motivating her friends) Come on, team! We’ve faced worse odds before and come out on top. With a little bit of redstone and a whole lot of guts, we can handle anything that comes our way!
King Hale is an aging monarch who, despite his waning physical strength, must summon the resolve to keep his city united in the face of impending threats. We need a voice actor who can convey his strength, political power, and unwavering dedication to his people.
