Character Background:
Drew is an only child to parents who would abuse her daily. Growing up, her parents struggled to pay rent on time, which resulted in constant tension. Drew learned to be independent at a young age and formed a tough shell. Consequently, she also developed her parent's bad habits (smoking and drinking). Due to her upbringing, it's not easy for Drew to let people in. The only person that's close to Drew is her best friend Charlotte Mitchell.
[frustrated, sobbing] Can’t my life be normal for once!
[annoyed, narrating] Ugh. Here we go again. Another lecture from the world’s dullest teacher.
I’ve never heard a kid say they like Mr.Fullerman. He teaches straight from the
book, and babbles on and on and… you get the point. Plus, he has this vein on
his forehead that bulges every time he gets angry, which with me, is all the
time.
[sounding slightly stir-crazy, with heavy breaths in between] Okay Drew, calm down… those voices don’t know anything about you… it’s probably because you’re not getting enough sleep… or maybe it’s some weird side effect of smoking.

Background:
Charlotte and Drew have known each other since middle-school. It took awhile for them to become best friends, but now, they're inseparable. Charlotte comes from a middle-class family, and lives in a nice suburban home. Her younger brother Elliot suffers from acute myeloid leukemia, so Charlotte is constantly visiting the hospital. It's Charlotte's dream to become a biomedical engineer, so she is always in the cafeteria or library studying.
[appologetic] Hey Drew! God, I’m so sorry I’m late. Elliot wanted me to stay a little bit longer.

[scared/shocked] D-drew?! [bitter] What are you doing to

Background:
Natalie is Drew’s mentor through the world of time-travelling. She becomes a very close friend to Drew, and is a huge influence on Drew’s development as a person.

Background:
Not a lot is known about Ryder yet. He and Natalie are time traveling partners and were the ones who found Drew. Ryder is very reserved and doesn't reveal a lot about himself until the middle of the series.

Background:
Haven is one of Drew's roommates. She is one of the few people Drew opens up to while adjusting to her new life.

her, she just blabbers on and on. Let’s go upstairs before she starts spilling
information about her personal life.

Background:
Bonnie is another one of Drew's roommates. Most of the time, Bonnie is overly enthusiastic, which drives Drew, and the rest of her roommates crazy. People can't help but love her, despite her constant chatter.
[happy/bubbly] Hiya new girl! I- (notices that Drew’s crying) oh… hun…
[energetic] Of course! We’ve known for weeks!
Maybe even months… we’re so happy that you’re finally here!
[sarcastic] Well aren’t you little miss sunshine
Haven. [turns upbeat again] Goodnight Drew! I hope ya sleep well!

Background:
Max is another roommate of Drew's. She's extremely quiet and keeps to herself most of the time. She isn't shy, she just doesn't have a lot to say. But when she does say something, it's always well timed and needed. Everyone has a lot of respect for Max, but also wonders what she's keeping secret.
[awkward] Uh, should we say hi?
[quiet, but strong] Sorry about earlier Drew, Bonnie can be a little overwhelming.

These three characters make a small appearance in Episode One.
Brice Pierce is Drew's father, Mr. Fullerman is Drew's math teacher, and Lewis Moore is one of Drew's classmates.

[aggravated, trying to keep his cool] You know what, you’re right Ms.Pierce. But I’ll have you know, cruising low,
not doing your homework, and making rare appearances in my class isn’t a recipe
for success. I’d be very worried if I were you, especially since this is your
what? Second time taking grade 11 math? I’d want to pass if I were you. Don’t
just think I’m going to use my ‘professional judgment’ to bump your 48 up to a
50.
Lewis Moore:
[stuttering, timid] I-I’m sorry, I just wanted to uh say… that the uh…

I need extras for various things. I'm mainly going to use your voices to create background noises for different scenes.
I will need voice actors who can pull off a creepy, chant-like voice!
Feel free to improvise with a couple of lines, as I want to see the range and sounds your voice can make (I'm going to need people who can pull off some weird, high-pitched stuff).
