This casting call is for a short horror story
SHORT HORROR STORY SERIES
for October

The overall goal is to cast a team of Voice Actors that can play various characters over multiple short stories. I'm looking to complete a "Minimum" of 9 Episodes before October where I'll release 2 Episodes a week with a BONUS episode on Halloween. Even though that may seem like a lot please keep in mind these stories will be short (very short in some cases), usually a page or less, and once you divide up the lines it's really not all that much per actor. There's really no heavy lifting with this project and time is on our side.
I'm looking to cast 3 male voice actors and 3 female voice actors. Each VA I cast must be good at narration and with emotion, especially fear. With each short story I will hand out the lines to the VA's pretty much at random and you must play that character to the best of your ability. One story you could be the narrator, the next the protagonist, then maybe the antagonist. There may even be a few stories you wont have to do anything.
This project should be a lot of fun.
*NOTE: Please only audition if you are serious about working on this project
- Discord (Preferred but not required) *it makes easier to keep in touch
- Good audio quality
- Turn in lines in a timely fashion (This is a must)
All I can offer in return for your efforts is full credits to all VAs at the end of project episode as well as credits and links in all episodes descriptions and show notes.

Mommy told me never to go in the basement, but I wanted to see what was making that noise. It kind of sounded like a puppy, and I wanted to see the puppy, so I opened the basement door and tiptoed down a bit. I didnβt see a puppy, and then Mommy yanked me out of the basement and yelled at me. Mommy had never yelled at me before, and it made me sad and I cried. Then Mommy told me never to go into the basement again, and she gave me a cookie. That made me feel better, so I didnβt ask her why the boy in the basement was making noises like a puppy, or why he had no hands or feet.
A father is laying in bed after just waking up, he grabs the baby monitor and walks to his desk in his office at home, he has his baby on the baby monitor and hears his wife singing to her, he cracks a smile as he hears his wife βGo to sleepβ¦ go to sleepβ¦β When suddenly the front door opens up and his wife comes in with groceries.
A woman survivalist and trained outdoors guide who loves to go solo camping. Returns home after 2 weeks of being in the bush and not seeing a single soul. Develops her disposable camera film to find a roll of film with numerous pictures of her sleeping at night, on different nights. She has never gone camping or hiking since.

βThe last thing I saw was my alarm clock flashing 12:07 before she pushed her long rotting nails through my chest, her other hand muffling my screams. I sat bolt upright, relieved it was only a dream, but as I saw my alarm clock read 12:06, I heard my closet door creak open.β
