SHORT NON-PROFT ANIMATION (round 3)
Project Overview
Hey all! I’ve been looking to launch a short animated film featuring a couple of my own characters. As of right now I am only looking for male parts but I will definitely be needing female voices in future episodes, if this goes well.
I’ve linked up too an animated sequence involving a snippet of animation I’ve gotten done. This shows the sort of feel/vibe of character I am going for.

So this is my third attempt at finding a VA since I am curious as to how accurate I will be able to get concerning Briggs's voice. My vision has kind of shifted since last. Briggs has a very mid-range tone. He's still got that prominent Brooklyn/New yorker accent, but he also carries a heavy rasp/gruffy sound to his voice. (he is a heavy smoker, after all. But don't overdue it.)

"don't worry.. shits mild. Will probably last you a day or two but.. beggars can't be choosers, right?" (takes a whiff of the joint.)
"Real tough talk for a guy wearin" a tie like that!" (snicker)
Alongside his brother Briggs, Rudy is a lot more morally-driven (unlike Briggs) and passionate about the things life has to offer. He truly wishes to succeed, even when times seem tough.
His accent is SUBTLE, very casual. I’m torn between wether I’d like to make him Australian or not so, I’d you’d like feel free to record with un accented speaking voice + speaking voice. Thanks so much!

“Yeah , I’m not so sure that’s the kind of crowd I’d like to gamble with..”
This is a bit of a coin toss here. I am looking for someone who is able to play non-acoustic guitar. Something about electric feels fitting.
So as mentioned, I’m looking for someone to play an intro sequence. This is super important to me, so you will absolutely get every kind of credit you’d need (no limit.)
I’m looking for sample work as of right now. So go crazy - maybe a couple of rifts or so - whatever you are capable of.
Bonus: I’m looking for the adult swim music sequence kind of kind. ‘It’s the leaving that’s hard’
If by any chance you’re able to play that - I’d love to hear it.
The context/animation of the intro will have a similar idea to the bojack horseman intro. Just something very grungey/nostalgic and left to interpretation.
Soo yeah that’s the long and short of it. Go nuts!
P.S.
I’ll have sheet music eventually. But that is a hefty process and it may take a little. Also, if you can, preferably drop your EMAIL or DISCORD!:)
Say something you think would fit
Briggs is ruthless, cunning, relaxed, and a heavy stoner when he’s got time to spare. He’s a half-demon from hell, and often ends up trailing back to his roots of evil if the time suits it well.
[Briggs carries a heavy Brooklyn accent. Think the typical ‘hey! I’m walkin‘here” type voice]
“Hey. The name’s Briggs. ‘But You can call me yours”
“Hey, Rudes - you seen Celia lately? Haven’t heard from her since last week.”

Re-launching Rudy as i've had a change of vision. I'm looking for someone with a higher/mid range male voice, who can sound a little nervous without being over exaggerated. He speaks with a little slang to his voice... ie; "Ain't you's from down over?" kind of idea. Try to sound pretty natural/nonchalant. this is a mature slice of life kind of idea. (audience target is teen to adult)
Really? You'd let me stay? Hell.. I'll do whatever it takes!
My brother has one too... we got them after... well, there was this gang, right? And they had crazy daggers and bats and... (He'd go off, rambling about how he had gotten a golden tooth)
I mean I'm more of a dog person, myself. My brother took in a stray, actually, which is surprisingly admirable of him.
Naomi is one of the main live interests of the series. She is Rudy’s love interest, and plays the role as a human whenever she’s seen with him. Plot twist! It’s all a disguise.
Since imps (What Rudy is) are considered lesser of demonfolk, she plays in secret as a human to be able to see him. She’s pretty powerful too, but because she loves Rudy so, becomes a lot more gentle and loving than most creatures of her nature are.
I’m pretty much open to interpretation for this role. She’s got a midrange voice and nothing too specific otherwise.
“He isn’t getting you into trouble, is he?”
“I say it’s time for us to have a little fun. What do you say boys?”
“Us succubi aren’t prone to commoners after all. But you’d be an.. exception.”
“You’d be welcome to come crash at my place, anytime”
Razor is part of a demon gang - a crucial rival to Briggs. They constantly find themselves fighting up the ranks, well aware their bickering and chases get them nowhere.
Razor is most often angry and intense. He speaks in an English accent, and his voice is deep and somewhat rusty.
