A brash and bold young man. Nobody knows where exactly Hajime is from, but it's safe to say he's from Shimizu. He found Asuna laying on a beach, which prompted the start of their friendship.

The deuteragonist of Seven Hopes and close friend of Hajime Hidaka. She's a Lux Element user and her signature weapon is a bow. While kind, she can be frightening when angry. Hearing from a guild about Isbur being closed off from the rest of Astria, she takes it upon herself to stop the impending war by finding the Kamigami of each nation. But, what will happen when Hajime finds out about her dark past?

The Water Kamigami of Shimizu. While she might appear young, she's actually over 6000 years old! She offers Hajime aid when he's trapped in a nightmare drowning.

A bold, loud, and outgoing man from Shimizu Harbor. He's known far and wide across Shimizu as the hero of the nation where he often helps out anyone he can. He comes off as intimidating, but he's a kind soul at heart. He often hangs around Shimizu Harbor's ports looking to help any ship or crew that stops by. He's quite fond of a certain Fluvius user that often comes to the ports on her ship.

One of the Shujin protecting Shimizu. Isamu is a quiet Shujin with a very distant personality, only speaking when he's needed to. He values the Kamigami above all else and would do anything to honor her and her nation.

One of the Shujin protecting Shimizu. Sumiko is a kind-hearted soul protecting Shimizu along with Isamu. While she might be kind, she is also a force to be reckoned with when in battle.

A young girl from Shimizu. She often aids the doctor with medical research, often fetching him berries for medicine. While she might be young, she harbors great intelligence.
