SCP Voice Acting Project

SCP Voice Acting Project

Project Overview

Pretty simple; I'm writing an SCP [I have gotten two greenlights and I am currently drafting, so this might take a while to start] and I'd like to include audio files for the addendums and tests / exploration logs. The SCP itself doesn't need a voice actor, its more featured characters. If you'd like more details on the SCP, please feel free to contact me on Instagram [I respond fastest there probably] or twitter [can respond fast varying on time]

@ kazuyukikasuke - twitter

[ also keep in mind because I don't know how long this scp will take to write out completely and cleanly, the deadline is completely subject to change ]

Role assigned to: AloraMyStyle

Note: Due to the circumstances of this role, there will not be indicators for what emotion I'd like you to convey. I want to see what you do with the character more naturally with the description given to you. In the future, if you are casted, you can request the addition of tones if wanted.

Dr. Hugh Yates is a head researcher in this SCP's story, he is the one mainly conducting experiments or at least controlling them. He's got a lot of lines, and generally he is the definition of a 'perfect' and 'reliable' SCP researcher- but I mean, under that definition, how reliable is he really?

Dr. Yates is generally very calm and collected, but he's still rather concerned about most, if not all, matters which could be associated with him. He's pretty patient with anyone he's working with and gets concerned about the condition of things too easily, mostly asking questions more than he's giving answers. He's got no noticeable accent, and his voice is about mid to low range. His age is unconfirmed, but we'll say about 25 or 29 at most.

  • My name is Dr. Yates. If this were an unprofessional event, I'd let you call me Hugh, but for now we should to our formalities.

  • Although I understand your concerns, I assure you that this won't be your final testing... as far as we're aware, this anomaly poses little to no harm to anyone, especially not you.

  • I'm afraid I have another question, if you would be so kind to answer this for me... uh, what exactly is your name again?

Orla Finch is an urban explorer, and has a light southern accent to her that's a bit died down, but you can still hear it. Because she is only brief, and is not directly associated with the foundation in any way, there is little known about her personality. She's mostly seen as rather open minded to challenges, and is rather trusting of most people- which is why when she feels like something's wrong, then something is really wrong. Orla Finch is about 35.

  • My name is Orla Finch. I'm 35, turning 36, and my intention with that building wasn't really my intention.

  • See, my aunt is a good gal, really... sure she did tell me about a sketchy place to look at, but hey, when are any abandoned buildings not sketchy?

  • It's all just kinda blurry now. I don't remember what happened anymore..

D-2427 is a fairly superstitious type woman with a background in giving up art due to rejection. She knows exactly when something doesn't feel right, but she can't do much about it due to being a D-Class in the SCP foundation.

D-2427 believes any experiment she's offered in is going to be her final experiment. For this, she's usually a little more willing to talk back or question the foundation unlike other D-Class. She seems to get sensitive in the mention of her past art career, and refuses to talk about it any more than she has to.

  • My name isn't D-2427, it's... well, no. You don't care, do you?

  • Listen- as much as I want to help the world, why would I want to help the foundation? Why couldn't I help the world by being law enforcement or something else not involving man eating lizards?

  • Let me guess, something's gonna pop out and bite me head off in one chomp, huh? Great.

D-1937 is a pretty relaxed man, whose arrest seemed to be somewhat odd considering his nature of calmness. He's more complying than D-2427, and tends to mostly go along with things. It's as though he's accepted the 'scum of the earth and disposable body' life of D-Class, and is mostly expecting to die as soon as he steps his foot into the wrong area.

He's neutral on the foundation itself, he understands the world is better with the foundation involved, but sometimes he can't help but question them. He is more like your everyday guy you might know from high school than he is a test subject.

  • Alright, so basically you want me to step into this place with no end and then try to find my way back? ...well, that's not the weirdest thing I've heard.

  • Could someone at least give me a hint for what's going on? Like, am I about to lose my head? That would suck if I was.

  • Hey, uh... don't you think you should have gotten a D-class that knows how to use a camera better than I do? That kinda, like... makes a lot more sense.

Role assigned to: David Woo

Note: Due to the circumstances of this role, there will not be indicators for what emotion I'd like you to convey. I want to see what you do with the character more naturally with the description given to you. In the future, if you are casted, you can request the addition of tones if wanted.

SPECIAL NOTE ON THIS ROLE; Dr. Kazuyuki Kasuke may be reoccurring in future SCP Articles [if I ever plan to write any]. Please keep this in mind, as you may be contacted in the future for this role again on unspecified occasions.

Dr. Kazuyuki Kasuke is a rather quiet researcher in the SCP foundation with no intention of getting close to anyone. He's rather opposite to Dr. Yates in the sense that he is less willing to care about things. He's most likely giving answers more than he's ever going to be asking questions. His voice has no accent noticeable, and he mostly talks in a rather soft voice that makes it sound like he's more gentle than he actually is- like a rose covered in thorns.

Dr. Kazuyuki generally has a stern look on his face that may be broken by a tired one, or perhaps a focused one when he's "in the zone". He takes his work seriously and doesn't let anyone get in his way, anybody who is a road block is to be removed from his general direction. But underneath, he's still human, and he pretends not to care but he cares way too much in the end, and he always seems to get hurt somehow. Dr. Kazuyuki just wants what is best for the foundation and humanity, and that's hard to get when you still want to be emotional. He's about 20 ish, early 20s at least.

Some people imply he's too young to be wasting away at the foundation, and imply he wanted to be an artist before this. He sounds sometimes like he doesn't want to be there, but he more feels like he needs to be.

  • Dr. Kazuyuki Kasuke. I am looking forward to working with you. I hope you do not disappoint, as I've heard great things of your cooperative assignments.

  • Vile. I don't understand how you can handle this... thing.

  • Don't get attached to it. Remember, it's anomalous, not human. The thing that's more dangerous than that thing right there is your emotions. Just don't try to feel for it.
