Sciophobia is an original animated series surrounding seven main characters:
Hoshiko Ito Dallas (She/Her)
Rowan Dallas (They/Them)
Sarah Armedilla (She/Her)
Lana Bello (She/Her)
Ryan Smith (He/Him)
Rebecca Smith (She/Her)
Lucie Saito (She/Her)
Rowan and Hoshiko are siblings, but not by blood. Lana and Sarah have been a couple for almost a year and a half, Ryan and Rebecca are siblings, and Lucie is a new student that goes to the school Rowan, Hoshiko, and Rebecca go to. Everyone's lives go by as they usually do. Rowan suffers emotional abuse from Hoshiko but tries to stay positive with the help of their two moms, Lana and Sarah have cute dates together, Ryan continues to balance his college life and work to help support him and Rebecca financially in their apartment, Rebecca goes to school and visits Lana, as they're close friends, and Lucie tries to get along with everyone within her school. All should seem fine...
But what happens when darkness fades in? When the dark creatures living in your nightmares come true...

(Concerned and confused) "We just… found her in the park. She was really dirty and.. There were blood stains on her…. And she’s even half blind. We literally found her with a missing eye."
(Wondering) “How come you were so okay with me asking a personal question about your eyes? It just kinda seems like… something you’d want to keep to yourself.”
Sarah's voice is a little deep and holds confidence, similar to Ryuko Matoi from Kill La Kill.

Personality: Sarah is a generous and kind girl. She’s accepting towards most people and tries to always keep up a positive attitude. She never judges anyone based on their appearance. Despite always thinking of her past and feeling awful from it, she hides her pain and her dark past from everyone, except for her girlfriend. Because of her manipulative parents, she still feels like she can’t trust everyone, but does her best to push those emotions to the side and be as open as possible.
(Happy and relieved) "It's good to see you guys here! I thought I wouldn't be able to recognize anyone."
(Angry) "LANA! YOU LIED TO ME!"
(Pouting) "Fine, but I won't be talking to her the entire time!"
Ryan's voice is deep but not strong. His voice carries nothing but gentleness with him, however, he will raise his voice if he finds it necessary.

Personality: Ryan is a very mature person, for starters. He’s a generous person and is one of the kindest hearted guys you will meet. Due to his experiences in an abusive relationship in the past, he has a few trust issues and chooses to stay away from love and relationships. He’s still great with giving advice, however, and loves helping others. He’s very supportive to his sister and encourages people to express themselves and be honest with themselves.
(Eager) "Rebecca, look! Lana and Sarah are here!"
(Concerned) "Uh... Sarah?"
(Angry) "GET AWAY FROM HER! STOP!"
Rebecca's voice is high pitched, like Mako Mankanshoku from Kill La Kill. Her voice can deepen a little when she's serious.

Personality: Rebecca is a bit energetic. She loves movies and loves to spend time with her brother. She tries her best to get over her past containing her physically and mentally abusive mother. She’s a little self-conscious about her body, but still does her best to smile and stay positive. She does anything she can to make others happy, and always tries to look at the bright side of things.
(Excited) "I DIDN'T THINK YOU'D BE HERE EITHER!"
(Miserable) "Ryaaaaaan, I can't beat any of the games..."
(Scared) "Wh-What's going on?! W-Why is this happening!?"
The only way I could describe Lucie's voice is a combination between Chiaki Nanami's voice from Danganronpa and Ludmila Lourie's voice from Madan no Ou to Vandadis.

Sexuality: Demiromantic lesbian

Personality: Lucie is a very bright person. Usually, she is very friendly, outgoing, kind, eager, and brave. She'll do anything to brighten up other's days, and will do anything to understand someone's situation in order to help them, even if they don't want her to know.
(Jokingly) “Chill out, I’m not gonna ask for your life story. I just wanna know why you were crying earlier.”
(Casual) “My name is Lucie Saito. I’m a new student. I transferred to your school last week.”
(Cheerful) “Oh wow! It’s so nice to meet you, Hoshiko! Rowan was telling me about you!”
