Scificity: The Dark Throne // Minecraft Cinematic Roleplay
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This casting call is for Season 1 of Scificity, which is titled as "Scificity: The Dark Throne". From the same folks that brought you The Devil Shadow, Inoumation Studios is producing a Minecraft animation series around the Scifi Empire, which is in a futuristic cyberpunk world. The animation is mainly storytelling and some drama is involved.
We're casting for voices to be used throughout the season. No matter you are casting for a main role or not, if your voice matches the tone for another character in the animation, we may ask you to also voice the other character, and this includes the parallel series of The Devil Shadow.
All roles are in the English language. Voice actors must be comfortable using the accent/vernacular of the characters (depending on the characters).
Voice actors are listed in the credits of each show, alongside the screenwriter, directors and skin designers.
SERIES OVERVIEW
Scificity is a Minecraft animation series that features mainly mystery, crime investigation, politics and cyberpunk world in the Scifi Empire. The series will be produced as a Minecraft animation-film dual style, with VFX, SFX and sound effects. Episodes will vary in style, depending on the content of the episodes themselves.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is May 11th, 2025. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline, as the scripts of the early episodes are ready to release to voice actors.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to be warmly greeted by Inoumation and Sirius, the folks that founded Inoumation Studios. At this point, you'll be part of our family, where you'll get to interact with other members of the production crew from around the globe, all of whom offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.
We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with either of these applications, you can still audition, however, we strongly, strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors, as well as the rest of the production crew. We've used Discord with other projects and it has been of immense value.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First and foremost, have fun -- we take pride in bringing together talents in different mediums to create something truly phenomenal, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about their craft.
Please submit clean recordings on prosumer mics (no air conditioners in the background, no fans -- we don't mind performing noise reduction on your files, however too much clean-up reduces the quality of your voice). And speaking of clean-up -- please let us handle the post-production. Don't add effects to your lines -- leave that to us
Feel free to cut your lines to your best/favorite takes. Three is the gold standard. We have a few voice actors that would rather give us more takes, and that's okay, too. However please at least remove the takes you don't want to be featured on the podcast. However, we would also produce some bloopers videos and we would also wish to have some fun takes.

We do occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we do this sparingly and only after great consideration - we realize your time is valuable, and we won't ask for anything we can't work around in edits.
Lastly, since we are planning on multiple seasons of Scificity (and The Devil Shadow), we 'd like to cast people who will be able to stick with us for a while. We're incredibly proud of the acting troupe we've formed over the years, and when starting a new project, we frequently return to voice actors we've worked with in the past.

Seraphin Marquis is one of the main protagonist in Scificity: The Dark Throne. He would be assisting Detective Fedesioon, Jerome and Aloin throughout the investigation, and try to expose the corruption and stuff that the Scifi Empire has done. Later on he will rebel against Scifi's ruling. His very final fate is currently unknown.

He is in 20s. Pitch is what you would imagine how a person in his 20's would be, somewhere mid to high pitch, tending towards mid pitch.

Chrysos is one of the main antagonist in Scificity: The Dark Throne. He is confident, sometimes very governmental official (only when facing the public). He’s very calculative and dangerous, and doesn’t tolerate instantaneous decisions. He’s reliable and loyal to his Emperor (Seirios). He consider all pros and cons before taking action. This is very similar to Celestin (also in the list). He overthrew his father's rule.
He curses, sometimes.

If you were not useful, you are dead, months ago. The politics have changed a lot since you were first locked here. You are a smart man, and I am pretty sure you know what to do is the best.

Célestin, I’m gonna be honest here. You need Jesus. You can't just launch an meson missile at the opposition's cities, can you? That's just basically a war crime.
Celestin Borreau is one of the main antagonist in Scificity: The Dark Throne. Once a noble of a fallen nation, he would now be assisting Seirios, the emperor, to rule the country. He is calm, sometimes playful and goofy, and have the most crazy ideas. However, he could be very serious if things took a wrong turn, and he holds everything deep within his heart in order to shield others from harm. He is a careful thinker and always quickly evaluate the pros and cons before taking action.

Cveto is a Ursan King, a protagonist in Scifi: TDT; He has a street-smart, sometimes very governmental official (only facing the public) attitude. He’s sharp, but simple minded, and sometimes is not confident with himself. He normally rethinks a lot before he acts, but sometimes his inconfidency overtook him and act before he thinks. He sometimes will be overshadowed by his citizens and give in at some point.
This character curses, sometimes.

Aidyn Murphy is a side antagonist in the Scificity series. Aidyn works for his boss Alfred. He is a lab technician and an assistant researcher. Upon Alfred's involvement in the headquarters of the Scifi Empire, Aidyn also works for the emperor.

Seraphin, have you thought of using alternative methods? Because, just as Dr. Fedisoon said, the suspect could be thinking of a unique way to commit the crime. You know how cheeky Southerners could be.
There are a lot of evidence that are pointing towards them. But what could we do? We do not have any direct evidence. All we have are circumstantial evidence.

I’ve checked the witness statements, and there's a discrepancy in the timeline. It doesn’t add up. There is way more than we thought to this chain of events.
What if the suspect is being backed by a massive organisation? It could explain why some of the evidence is missing.
