I’m a solo indie developer working on a Sci-fi "Waifu" Visual Novel, and I’m looking to breathe some life into the battle system with your help.
Specifically, I’m seeking voice actors to record short voice lines for my units (who are spaceship pilots / captains).
What you need to know:
- Form: Each role has a maximum of 100 words to record, consisting of very short sentences. These lines will trigger during gameplay when players take actions like selecting or moving a unit.
- Style: The game’s vibe is a blend of military Sci-fi and character-driven fun, striking a middle ground between "serious stakes" and "whacky romance." The characters feel like "people doing their job" rather than "larger-than-life" figures.
- Compensation: Base pay is €30 per character. While my budget is tight, rates are negotiable. Through Paypal.

You can audition for as many characters as you want, as long as you think you have the vocal range.
If you’ve read this far and feel my (very) brief descriptions below don’t provide enough inspiration, I recommend checking out the unit voice lines from the Homeworld series, particularly Deserts of Kharak, which should give you an idea of what I'm aiming for.
Also, note that Line C for most characters is a “joke” line, triggered only under specific conditions.
For these, you can go a bit more whacky and playful. (If you're familar with Blizzard RTS game, you should have an idea of what I'm talking about.)

Important things to know:
Though this job does not contain NSFW elements, and you will NOT voice anything NSFW, the end product will have both a SFW and NSFW version, so I require all VA auditionning to be of age in their respective country to audition.
I know that having your voice associated to a project with NSFW elements can be disturbing to some people, so please keep that in mind before auditionning.
