Project Overview
What is this?
This is an on-going unofficial fandub of the infamous anime show that everybody loves to hate, School Days! I've been working on fandubing the whole series since 2009! Now I need of YOUR help into bringing this series to life again! With your voice acting talent, I know we can bring this series to an end and finally complete the long awaited English dub of this show.
For those of you unfamiliar with the premise, here is a sypnopsis written by MAL Rewrite:
High school student Makoto Itou first notices Kotonoha Katsura at the start of his second semester, freshman year. Immediately, he becomes entranced by her beauty, but his bashfulness doesn't allow him to approach her, even though they ride the same train every day. Instead, he snaps a photo of her in secret and sets it as his cell phone's wallpaper: a charm that, if kept under wraps, would supposedly help you realize your love. However, classmate Sekai Saionji spots the picture, but instead of ratting him out, she offers to help set him up with Kotonoha—going so far as befriending her just for him. Thus, the trio begins a rather impromptu friendship.
School Days follows the lives of these three teenagers as they traverse the joys and hardships that come with being a high schooler. In a story alive and brimming with romance and melancholy, the tale of these three students will linger in memory long after the momentous conclusion.

Requirements:Since this is a paid project that I am funding out of my own pocket: a significant level of technical and performance quality is going to be expected. Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Simultaneously many of these roles are for larger than life characters who tend to emote HEAVILY- as such most roles will probably involve shouting and even a bit of hamming it up/overacting in some capacity at some time or another so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.
On top of all that, I need you to be able to communicate very well. Its hard trying to get 5+ people together to work on a project so I hope you can minimize this struggle by being very attentive. To ensure great communication, I made a private Discord for voice actors, script writers etc. to communicate through.
Casting in Regards to Payment:As I mentioned above- this project is going to be funded directly out of my pocket and as such the audition deadline has been set significantly down the road to better ensure my ability to pay everyone who is selected.
Payment is going to be on a per episode basis: you will be paid for each episode your role appears in. The listed price is the price of which you will be paid for their first appearance.
Payment:Payments will be sent exclusively through PayPal only- if you do not have a PayPal account do not expect to be paid as part of this project.
A few final notes:1.) I'm a huge fan of this franchise and so are some of the previously cast individuals and as such we may be submitting our own auditions alongside all who wish to participate- I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO TRY AND IMITATE OUR PERFORMANCES. Each role will have the suggested guidance and ideal performance parameters I have in mind for each character, but the beauty of acting is taking the same premise or direction and presenting it with your own unique flair.
2.) A warning, some scenes in this show might make you fee "uncomfertable" so if stuff like moaning etc, bothers you, DO NOT audition.
3.) Discord is not required, but it is recommended as we utilize it to organize group rehearsals, deliver announcements, and distribute scripts (it's also been an incredibly useful tool for getting to know the people affiliated with the project and we've had a fair bit of fun with it).

Also in year 1, class 3, she is Makoto's classmate. Sitting next to him in class, she sees the picture that Makoto has secretly taken of Kotonoha on his mobile phone. She then helps him get close to Kotonoha despite harboring strong feelings for him. Even though she is good-natured her emotions overwhelm her in many situations. She lives with her mother in an apartment.
Known to be both a cheerful mood-maker and somewhat of a loudmouth. Her cute appearance and bright personality (as admired by Taisuke) attract a lot of secret fans, but with her frank and outspoken personality, all the boys who've confessed to her so far have been mercilessly rejected.
[Really shocked] Hold up, you blocked her?! Was that really necessary?
[Dissapointed] Even though Setsuna tried to stop you…You chased after Katsura-san..
[Bossy/scolding] Makoto! You can't just ruin your relationship with Katsura-san if you're going to see someone else! It's just wrong!

A shy, quiet girl from class 1-4, one door down from Makoto and Sekai's class.
Due to her striking appearance, she's always been somewhat frightened of boys. She is disliked by the girls in her class, and distanced from the boys, who restrain each other from approaching her. Having taken an interest in Makoto as he watches her from afar, she decides to accept when he confesses with the help of Sekai's mediation.
[Sad] Why was…...Makoto and Saionji doing that..I wonder if Makoto is tired of me...?
[Worried/Shy] I-Its not possible! Each class has a quota to meet....
[Very happy] Makoto-kun! Did you become a committee member?

Monotone Voice
Setsuna is a member of the class committee and is childhood friends with Sekai. Their mothers are good friends and they work together at the same company. Setsuna is constantly worried about Sekai and tries to make sure that Makoto will keep Sekai happy. This leads her to go so far as to try to eradicate Kotonoha from Makoto's love life by cutting short any interactions they had while she was around, although this was only done for Sekai's sake and she didn't harbor real ill feelings towards Kotonoha herself. Although silent-looking and almost emotionless, she is conscious about her underdeveloped body, especially in comparison with Kotonoha and Sekai.
[demanding] Sekai, please teach everyone about the tricks of the trade.
If I advertise the cute costumes and high quality service, there's no way we could lose.

Sassy/Loud
Temperamental and fastidious, Hikari Kuroda is a student in year one of class three, recognizable by her signature squid rings hairstyle. She initially believes that Makoto and Sekai are dating from the very start, and tends to negatively generalize him; later growing closer to him herself.
Though she is actually quite friendly and social, Hikari is the most childish of the cast; sporting an unduly knack for whining and prying into the affairs of others. Her family owns a confectionery store and café, famous for its lemon custard pie. Hikari is good friends with Sekai and has an unreciprocated crush on Taisuke Sawanaga.
[Annoyed] What now!? I swear if this is about the little sisters and zombie cafe, I’ll….
[Disappointed] It also looks like both class-2 and 4 took our idea.
[Flustered] Huh? What about Sawanaga? WHAAAAA!!! That freaking pervert!!!

She has always had a crush on Makoto since junior high. Although she has feelings for Makoto ever since junior high, he does not seem to think of her romantically. While Kotonoha dates Makoto, Otome is extremely irritated and jealous when before, she thought the relationship was one-sided.
