This series is going to be somewhat of a dramatic comedy with quite a bit of swearing. This series is intended for teens and adults and will also press on issues that we are facing today.
Carla Cane just landed her first teaching job -- at Cloverdale Elementary School. Everything seems to be going just fine in this college graduate's life until she learns 2nd grade is not all fun and games. Her rival from high school is another teacher at the school whose only goal is to get rid of Carla and the School Board is making some disturbing changes that is making Carla's job worse. On top of her job, Carla's sister is making some drastic changes of her own and Carla is obligated to make sure she doesn't ruin her life for good!
Alright, soo we're doing a GREAT job so far in casting these roles and I've already gotten the lines from the script from some of you. (Which is really awesome, really! Thank you so much!)
But, I need a few more voices for the first episode before it can be posted.
MALE:

If anyone has any friends who are interested in voice acting, or can change their voice (male to female and vice versa) enough so characters don't sound alike, that would be aweome!
NOTE: I'm not sure whether or not her voice has been decided. I think I want to personally voice her but, if you feel like you can do a good job, go ahead and audition and I might change my mind and give the role to someone else.
Carla Cane is 23 years old - fresh out of college! She landed her first teaching job as a 2nd grade teacher. She is very hardworking and caring towards her family and students. She does get stressed easily, but tries her best not to let it get to her. Her favorite color is red. She cares very deeply for her mother and younger sister, but does get aggrivated from her sister's life choices.
"Wait, so what happens in 3rd grade that turns perfectly well-bheaved 2nd graders into horrifyingly terrible 4th grade spawns of Satan?"
"No.... Candace, no. Nononono no. You are NOT living with me. Your lifestyle does not sync with mine. You'll be up all night and I've got to teach kids starting at 7am. No."
CONVERSATION - just recite Carla's lines
Carla: "I just wanted to go over some things. I'm sorry for yelling at you. I was just frustrated."
Candy: "It's all good, Carls."
Carla: "I made breakfast. You can have whatevers in the kitchen, just don't make a mess. You can have my spare key for now. Look for a job while I'm gone, ok? I'll be back around 5, I have bus duty and I'm staying after school, so if you need me, call me."
Lucy Labelle is an old high school friend of Carla. She is 24 years old. She had her daughter, Julie, when she was 17. Her and her daughter were very close up until the divorce, then Julie became distant, angry, and somewhat mean. She takes her anger out on snapping and being rude to her classmates, calling them names and trying to make others feel bad. Lucy is an overall free-range mom. She does not discipline her child because she feels that she goes through enough because of the divorce. But she also tries to make herself feel better through shopping, boutiques, and getting her hair done. She spends a lot of her time on her cell phone and believes Julie will just grow out of her bad behavior.
VOICES: I want to have the same voice actress for Lucy and Julie so they sound similar. Julie is very bratty with a high voice, and Lucy is very outspoken, but she is also a lazy mom, spending more time on her cell phone than disciplining her child so I want a voice that can display that.
(LUCY LABELLE) "Well, life's been good to me since the divorce. And I got full custody of this little darling here."
(JULIE LABELLE) "Go die."
(LUCY LABELLE) "Sorry. The divorce has been rough on her. I've been letting her get it out of her system."
(JULIE LABELLE) "Cheerleading is stupid! All you do is wave pom thingies around like an idiot."
(JULIE LABELLE) "It's not even Christmas, dummy."
Mr. Michaels is somewhat a minor character. He does not have many lines, only to support the major characters. He is a 5th grade teacher. He is friendly though and a likeable person.
VOICE: normal man voice/mature
"Oh, you're not really gonna do it." (doubting his friend playfully for being too nervous to ask out a girl)
"Ian, really, there's no need for that."
Sister to the vice principal, Vanessa is genuinely very sweet, contradictory of her sister. She has a very strong Southern accent and the only way to describe her is as a Southern Bell. She is very caring towards everyone and will do her best to be nice.
VOICE: Strong Southern accent, but not redneck. More like a sweet southern bell.
"Oh dear, where are my manners? I'm Vanessa Darling. You can juse call me V. I'm the Kindergarten teacher. How are you fairing along?"
"Oh... Em, this is a bad idea, sugar. Don't you start any trouble now." (Em is pronounced like the start of Emily)
"Why, good mornin', Mrs. Hale. Why the rush?"
(NEED ASAP FOR 1ST EPISODE!)
Emily Hale is rude, sarcastic, and mischevious. She is the other 2nd grade teacher and so she sees Carla as a threat. She spends her time plotting against Carla and she has always been this way since their high school days. She hates Carla with a passion and tries to get her fired constantly.
VOICE: super sarcastic, rude, mean
CONVERSATION - just voice out Emily's lines
Emily: "Oh wowwwwwww! Well, if it isn't Cumtart Carla! I didn't recognize you with all the baby weight."
Carla: "I..... don't have kids."
Emily: "Oh, I'm SO SORRY! You've really let yourself go. Well, you did get taller so at least you can say you're evening out, rightt?"
Carla: ".........."
Emily: "Oh, yeah, I know, I was being sarcastic. God luck with your first year, though." *CRASH* "Oh, and you're doing a GREAT job already, Carla, hunny. First rule of teaching, never leave your students unsupervised. Toodles!"
"I have to! Our children shouldn't be exposed to drugs, especially by their own teacher. This isn't a TV show. This is real life."
" She's not sweet and I'm not jealous! She's been out to get me since high school. She hates me."
Mr. Justin Call teachers 3rd grade, but honestly should not even be teaching at all. He is very dense, and slow. He has no common sense and can't really make mature decisions on his own. He's very stupid, to be blunt. He's a very likable character though, and while people like him, they find his niave character very tiresome after awhile.
VOICE: goofy, stupid
"Ohhhhhhhhh....... but what if they're done?"
"Hehe.......'duty'." (little giggle/laugh)
"Hey guyss!"
BK is very handsome and has pleasant manners to go along with his looks. He's flirtatious and likes to make sexual jokes when he is with friends, but he also shy when he finds a woman he really likes and will be a complete gentleman when she is around. He is somewhat formal. His best friend is Ian Green.
VOICE: VERY deep, polite. No accent.
"Woah! How do you like those apples?" (emphasis on "those", paying attention to the apples on a woman's shirt/ sexual joke)
"Don't embarrass the poor lady, Richard!"
"May I join you?"
Mr. Ian Green teaches 1st grade. He is very friendly towards other people and confident. He is very polite and a gentleman. His best friend is BK Myers.
VOICE: deep, strong
"If he doesn't, I will." (in context, if his friend doesn't ask out a girl then he will)
"Sorry, you've got to admit. She is just.... beautiful." (in awe)
"After you, my dear. After all, I've got to take care of such a sweet beautiful woman such as yourself."
As the vice principal of Cloverdale Elementary, Miss Rebecca Darling seems very friendly and outgoing. She aspires to be principal of the school instead of vice principal and will do anything to reach her goals. She will be nice to your face but will destroy your life if need be. She is also very formal. She is generally a neutral person, but if needed, she will take whatever precautions necessary to make things right and can come off as bitchy in this regard.
VOICE: I need someone with a sweet voice, but also manipulative. Like a low-key Regina George. Slight Southern accent.
"Sister, darling, can you be a dear and finish this paperwork please?"
"Oh, sweetheart, it's nothing, really. Just a little favor."
"I'm warning you, do not cross me! One word from me and I can get you fired! Don't forget your place."
Principal Erin is, of course, principal of Cloverdale Elementary School. He is middle-aged. He is very easy going and optimstic. He likes his summers and is kind of "old-fashioned".
EDIT: I lost my original voice actor for this role, so I will be looking for someone to sound similar.
VOICE: Optimistic and generally happy, but also concerning with serious matters.
"Good morning, staff! As you know, next week is the first day of school and there has been some last minute changes..."
"Ms. Moore had a bit of an accident over the summer..... She'll be in the hospital for awhile."
"Anyway.... I wish everyone a great year and good luck to you, Miss Cane! I hope you'll be with us for a very, very long time. Welcome to Cloverdale."
Candace "Candy" Cane is the younger sister of Carla. She is 19 years old.
She did finish high school, but decided to skip out on college to try for her dream of being famous. She has a twisted way of thinking the only way to be famous is to sleep with a very well-known celebrity. She idolizes the Kardashians, especially Kim, and she loves to party.
She is somewhat sarcastic, but niave and lacks common sense, or at least does not acknowledge it. She does care for her sister, however, and wants to help her out, but only in things that she is interested in (like decorating).
VOICE: I need someone who can go back and forth between sarcastic and witty to being niave and the basic party girl. She is also very lazy so she also has times where she lags about and whines.
"Oh, you haven't heard... It's "Candy", not Candace. I'm pretty famous now, sooo...."
"Ewww! Nothing! However, the sex tape DID get leaked online. Noooooo idea how THAT happened."
"I mean... I COULD be a stripper, but that's not the goal. I'm trying to be famous, and the only way to do that is to sleep with a celebrity, Preferably Kanye West."
Mr. Dick Hancock is a 4th grade teacher at Cloverdale. He's openly gay and very, VERY outspoken. He's a very nice person and generally gets along with everyone. His mouth does not have a filter and he sometimes says some innappropriate things. He loves sexual jokes and is very open about his sexuality.
VOICE: I kind of really want a stereotypical "gay" voice that is kind of high and excitable, very friendly.
"O-M-G. You are soooooooo darling!" (spell out OMG and sound excited, little giggle at the end)
"Oh, honey, don't be so nervous. She won't bite. At least I hope not, for your sake. Not for mine though. ME-oww." (sexual at the end)
"Oh, you're so bad! That's bad! Oh, isn't he just so bad?" (after a sexual joke)
"Oh my goodness! That.... is..... tragic." (pause between each word in "This is tragic")
Mr. Pablo Sanchez is a 3rd grade teacher. He is an attractive and friendly hispanic man, but is very nervous. He cares a lot for his daughter, Sara (not pictured) and seems to be troubled constantly.
VOICE: nervous, shaky with a Mexican accent
"Hey! Miss. Cane, I'm so sorry we're late." (in a rush)
"I know, I'm sorry. This past week has been rough..."
"I think I'll take you up on that offer, Miss. Cane. Gracias."
May Ling kind of becomes Carla's work bestie. She teaches 4th grade. She's helpful, but shows little to no emotion at work because she hates teaching 4th grade, mainly because Justin teaches 3rd grade and doesn't have the best methods so she has to reteach everything.
VOICE: monotone. I'm not sure if I want her to have a Chinese accent or not, so you can try it both ways. But I do want her to have a monotone voice because she is such a pessimist.
"4th grade. Trust me, it's not all rainbows and butterflies like in 2nd grade. These kids are monsters."
PART OF A CONVERSATION - just repeat May's line.
Carla: ".........he seemed a little....."
MAY: "Fucking retarded? Yeah I know." (spiteful)
"Did it flare up again?" (comment towards someone she hates)
