May Ling kind of becomes Carla's work bestie. She teaches 4th grade. She's helpful, but shows little to no emotion at work because she hates teaching 4th grade, mainly because Justin teaches 3rd grade and doesn't have the best methods so she has to reteach everything.
VOICE: monotone. I'm not sure if I want her to have a Chinese accent or not, so you can try it both ways. But I do want her to have a monotone voice because she is such a pessimist.
"4th grade. Trust me, it's not all rainbows and butterflies like in 2nd grade. These kids are monsters."

Soooo, just recently figured out that I can't do a Chinese accent for shit XD
it didnt have to be a chinese accent, just monotone it like she hates her job and life in general lol. but if you wanted to try it with and without an accent, its optional lol. xD
nevermind, i just heard the chinese accent haha. its hard to do an accent AND make it sound monotone at the same time, so ill give you points for trying! haha. but i do love how your voice for this character is different than with Julie and Lucy :D So it sounds like three totally different voices! :)
