Sapphire's Guide to Fame
Project Overview
Sapphire's Guide to Fame is an upcoming comedy animated series based on the characters created by one of my best friends, SaraChelsea91.
Follow the adventures of a rich teenage girl named Sapphire and 4 of her closest friends as they live out their lives in Los Angeles, California, with Sapphire uploading a series on Youtube, teaching her audience how to make it in life and become successful.
Open ethnicity - POC actors strongly encouraged to audition.
REQUIREMENTS
1. You must have a high-quality microphone, or at the very least, you must be clear for me to hear and have any background noise or clipping/peaking be minimal.
2. You must have a Discord account, as the project will be going into production over there.
3. Your voice files must be sent in a .wav format.
4. Remember to have fun!
NOTE: Payment on this project will be distributed upon completion and uploading of each episode, as well as when revenue begins to be generated. So if all these conditions are met, expect to be paid in the weeks following the uploading of each episode.

Sapphire is a girl that's all about pink and having the best of the best. The best clothes, the best house, the best of friends. She knows what she wants and she always goes for it. She can be a bit of a diva and a little self-absorbed at times, but deep down, despite what some people might say, she does have a heart and will show her caring side to the people that matter most to her.
Race/Ethnicity: Caucasian
Voice: Medium-High range. Think Veronica Lodge from Riverdale
[To Onyx, Annoyed] I really don't like you, I'm sure you've realized this by now, but this party is for Amethyst, so for one of my best friends, I say let's swallow our pride and get through tonight without ripping each other's heads off, for her sake.
[Excited] Did someone say SHOPPING?? Oooo I am so coming with, my wardrobe needs one hell of an update, I've worn everything in there at least once now and I can't be seen wearing the same outfit twice!
[To Jade, Sweetly] But Jadeeeee.....fine.
Only one thing is usually on Jade’s mind: GO! Jade's endless supply of energy leads her to be always on the move and constantly trying to be active. She loves playing any and every kind of sport and she always tries her hardest to work out and stay in perfect physical condition. When she finally does settle down for the day, it's only because her girlfriend Sapphire calls her to watch a movie with her. Don't try to test her though, she's got a temper the size of a thimble, so if you ever do anything to tick her off, you better start running.
Race/Ethnicity: Her family comes from the desert, but she is also Italian.
Voice: Medium-Low range, Rasp. Think Spinelli from Recess
[Angry] Uh, you wanna repeat that? Go on, I dare you...SAY IT AGAIN!!
[Playing basketball, Cocky] Heh, you really wanna go against me? Okay, bring it on. Fair warning though, you brought this on yourself.
Amethyst is probably one of the most timid people you will ever come across. She's never been the best at standing up for herself and oftentimes she will get interrupted due to her not having the confidence to raise her voice at people. However, if there is a puppy or a kitty in her frame of vision, she will squeal like crazy! She absolutely adores animals.
Race/Ethnicity: African-American
Voice: High Range. should sound very sweet, innocent, and soft, but gets very loud when she gets excited. Think Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls
[Quiet, Kind] Um, well actually I was... no, it's okay I can do it if it'll make you happy.
[At an animal shelter, Excited, Squealing] Why are there so many adorable fur babies here??? I want to adopt them all! I need them in my life!
Crystal is the musical genius of the group. She always seems to either be coming up with new songs or playing around with her piano. She's very chill and laid back, always keeping to herself and just doing her own thing. She's very kind, sweet, and very passionate about her music, but will not hesitate to stand up for her friends.
Race/Ethnicity: Hawaiian.
Voice: Medium-High, Think Josie Mccoy from Riverdale
[Showing her new music] Alright check out this new beat I've been working on. I tried doing like a mixture of rock, but also country. I think I did a decent job blending these two, not to brag or anything.
[Talking to Amethyst, Encouraging] Amethyst, you can't let her walk all over you like that. You gotta learn to stand up for yourself, girl. You're a lot stronger than you think you are. I know if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.
Amber is an outdoor enthusiast to the max! She is all about roughing it in the great outdoors. She enjoys fishing, bug collecting, and camping under the stars. She also loves to learn more about ancient artifacts from the past, as each one has its own unique story to tell. She's very down-to-earth, grounded in reality and on what's real and what isn't.
Race/Ethnicity: Australian
Voice: Medium-High range, with a subtle Australian accent. Think a slightly Australian Eliza Thornberry from The Wild Thornberries.
[Tired, mildly annoyed] (sighs) I seriously need a vacation from this insanity. How anyone can keep their head screwed on straight while dealing with all this is beyond me.
[Spending time outside, Content] Nothing like a night under the stars to get you in-tune with nature. Solitude and the great outdoors, the perfect combination, if you ask me.
Onyx comes from a very seedy neighborhood, and at first glance, you would think that he's nothing but trouble. But if you look underneath that, you'd see that despite his tough and snarky exterior, he has a very sweet, caring heart. He's the leader of a motorcycle gang called the Black Diamonds, who always stick together and know how to get the job done. His girlfriend is surprisingly the very sweet and adorable Amethyst. He's a huge technological wiz but also knows how to throw a punch, especially if someone messes with those he cares about.

Voice: Medium-Low range. Think a younger FP from Riverdale.
[stops Rocki from kissing him] Rocki, we can't do this, okay? We're over. I'm with Amethyst now, you had your time and now it’s gone. Move on, alright?
[on a date with Amethyst] Babe, you really need to learn how to relax. Come on it's me and you, you don't need to think bout anything else.
Quartz has always been kinda known as the class clown, with his snarky comments and cornball dad jokes, he's always felt that laughter is the best medicine. He has severe OCD, so as you would expect, he's a total neat freak and cannot stand anything being out of place. Being Onyx’s stepbrother has its perks and disadvantages as their circles are completely different and they are essentially polar opposites in some respects. not to mention when it comes to Onyx’s sister, Obsidian, Quartz always gets the shaft when it comes to her pranks.

[scrubbing his arms hard, cleaning himself up] I don't care what Onyx says, Obsidian has it out to get me. Her pranks are way worse on me than anyone else. Shiiiiit you've gotta be kidding me, these pants are ruined now...
[Talking to Crystal, Joking] Crystal, your eyes shine like diamonds...hehe or should I say, shine like crystals? Eh? Ehhh?
