Project Overview
Hello! Welcome to the Casting Call for the Dubbing of RWBY DC Comics!
I've been reading these a lot recently and of course I have to hop on and try to do some dubs for them. These are really cool stories and it does put more interesting perspective to all of the characters.
You'll probably already notice there are some characters missing. If you already guessed, I have some VAs (plus myself) who are already doing some of these roles.

I just need the rest of the cast list needed for these comics.
I am only casting from Issues 1 to 5 for now. There will be more later, so be on the look out for those.
RULES FOR AUDITIONING.
1. Have a Decent Microphone. (No Phone Microphones or Regular Computer Microphones Allowed). I really need a decent quality Microphone in which has little to no background noise. The Microphones I would be fine with are Blue Snowballs and onward.
2. Have a Discord. I will be primarily working through Discord only with VAs so if you don't have one, that will come as a problem as I do not check this site very often and I do not use other forms of platforms very often.
3. Meet the required deadlines. If you are just slightly late without letting me know you will be (or why you will be). This will become the ultimate way of getting booted off the project. I am flexible with people if they communicate with me. But if they do not communicate with me or let me know about needing extensions. You will be booted. No questions asked.
4. Be willing to be given direction. I will always allow my actors to be directed and I will do the best in my ability to direct my actors as much as possible. Basically, don't be a stubborn mule about it. Be willing to be given feedback and help.

More Extension on Deadline
Thank you again to those who have been auditioning for the Comic! I have been slowly updating the whole thing as much as I can! I have casted more roles, but I still have a ton that are opened! (Really hoping to at least get Nora casted) But thank you guys! -
Extended Deadline for Auditions
Hello Everyone! So I do wanna say thank you to those who have Auditioned so far! I am honored that you noticed this project! I have listened to some of the Auditions, and there will be some that will be casted if I do think it fits well enough for me. But I will still keep some opened either for lack of auditions or to see if I can find a suitable voice for the character if I haven't found it yet.

Ruby Rose is the young protagonist of the hit Web Series, RWBY. In the DC Comics, she is in the 1 year timeskip period where she is separated from her teammates after the Fall of Beacon. So now she is the leader of Team RNJR.
I'd prefer the take that Lindsay Jones does from the show.
NOTE: There will also be a younger version of Ruby in the Comics, so you will also need to sound younger as well.

Weiss Schnee is/was the former heiress of the Schnee Dust Company that her abusive father runs. She is also a member of Team RWBY. This will all take place after the Fall of Beacon. So she is at home in Atlas dealing with her family members (Father, Mother, and Brother included).
I would like Weiss to sound close to how she sounds in the show. (Kara Eberle)
(Slightly Sassy and Threatening) "You're going to learn how wrong you are, Cardin Winchester. I'll PROVE I belong here. Just Watch."
(Suggesting to Ruby) "Yang's the strongest. Perhaps we should focus on getting her across the finish line."
(Cocky sounding) "Come on, Cardin, weren't you scared you weren't going to have a worthy opponent?"

Yang Xiao Long is the older half-sister of Ruby Rose and a member of Team RWBY. In the Comics, they explore her time of being seperated from Team RWBY after the Fall of Beacon and (spoiler alert) having her arm decapitated off of her. She is at her home in a small island off of Vale with her Father, Taiyang Xiao Long.
I would prefer if she sounded close to how she does in RWBY, which would be Barbara Dunkelman.
NOTE: There will also be a younger version of Yang as well. So you may also need to sound younger too.
(Teasing Ruby) "Come on, Ms. 'I got special permission to enter Beacon Academy two years early by order of Professor Ozpin'! You're gonna be late for Class!"
YOUNG YANG: (Saying loudly and excitedly) Hugs from Above!
(Slightly angry and depressive) Don't Dad. Just Don't.

Nora Valkyrie is a Member of Team JNPR (or now ORNJ). After the Fall of Beacon, Nora travels with RWBY along with her other 2 remaining Team Members Jaune Arc and Lie Ren. They form RNJR very briefly until Ruby gets her whole team back.
For Nora, I want her to sound close to how she does in the show. (Samantha Ireland).
(Singing) "Just a Few Hundred Miles to Mistral, Just a Few Hundred More to Go! Who attacked Beacon? What were they after? That's what we want to know!"
(Optimistic) "We're only a few days out of patch. This is no time to flag in our morale!"
(Calling out to Ruby in a Panicked State) "Ruby! Not that Formation!"

Corey Wilder
Qrow is the Uncle to both Yang and Ruby, the Brother in Law to Taiyang Xiao Long, and a former member of Team STRQ. He is a professional Huntsmen who has been doing work for Ozpin for years. He's now trying to help Ruby on her quest to defeat Salem and her faction.
In this case senerio. I can either go with Vic Mignogna or Jason Liebrecht's Take. You can either mix the two or do one or the other. I have a preference to Vic by default, but I do not mind if you try to do the recent take of Qrow.
(Slightly Sassy and Slightly Concerned) Hey, Hey! What is this? Are you trying to put the Roosters out of a job?!?
(Recollecting Everything told to him) A Raven, You Say? And very interested in telling you Summer Rose wasn't a great mother, especially to Yang... Hmm..
(Slightly Stern) Yang. You shouldn't gave told Ruby those stories. Even if you meant them kindly. Your Father and I disagree on this, but a lie is a lie, as far as I'm concerned.

Madame Mallari is a older woman who lives on Patch (The same small island that Tai and his family live on) and is a neighbor of Taiyang. She has also lost limbs much like Yang and her purpose in the comics is to help Yang come to terms with loosing her arm.
Madame Mallari doesn't have a canon voice, so this can be open to interpretation. But for me personally. I want her to sound mid pitch, wise, and caring sounding.
(Cheery) Good Afternoon, Yang! Thank you so kindly for your aid. I've really been ignoring these problems for too long, and today, as they say, the bandage is coming off.
(Reassuring, but later sad sounding) Your Father sent you here because he loves you. But that injury... It is beyond even my power.
(Cheery) Oh, dearie, Yang! I swear, you think more than anyone else gives you credit for. At Beacon Academy, did any of your professors realize you were more than an animate cloud of yellow hair shouting about your baby sister and brandishing more weapons than one?

Sienna Khan was a former leader of the White Fang (before being killed by Adam Taurus). She was originally under the wing of Ghira Belladonna before rising up into power and favoritism. In the Comic she is in, this is more a flashback sequence from Blake's perspective of meeting Adam.
I want her to sound close to how she does in the show (Monica Rial).
(Loud and Booming) I am Sienna Khan, A loyal advocate for the White Fang, which fights for the Liberation of all Faunus!
(Somber) I bring grave news from our operatives Adam Taurus and Ilia Amitola--
(Informative, slight anger) Today, Three Memembers of the White Fang were captured by vicious human mercenaries, all trying to help the faunus who were abused and mistreated in the Dust Mines! We fear for the lives of our imprisoned brothers and sister, as we can only imagine the horrors inflicted on the captive faunus.

Kali Belladonna is the mother of Blake Belladonna, and wife to Ghira Belladonna. Not much is really known about her aside from this and her connections to the White Fang.

Ilia Amitola is Blake's best friend from the White Fang. She and Blake had a bond before Blake ran off from the White Fang. Then Ilia grew bitter towards Blake.
In the issues so far, she doesn't have much of a presence so far, but we will see if she has more.

Cardin Winchester is the leader of Team CRDL. He's also the school bully to both Jaune and Velvet. In the comic, he is still just the bully. A means to an end for everyone to prove to be better than him.

Ice Princess is just here because her dad donated, like, a whole wing to the school. I bet they even name it "the Schnee Institute for which Silver Soup Spoon to use."
Did you know Schnee isn't even her dad's name? It's her Mom's! He took it when they got married!
Shoot, Pyrrha's just as bad. So holier than thou. Just wait until training day. I'll see to it all of those stuck-up, know-it-all battle axes get what's coming to them.
