Hello! I recently played a horror game called Rot in Paradise, made by racheldrawsthis, and I immediately fell in love with it. The game is a short 2D horror visual novel set in October of Australia, following the story of a vacationist named June and her friends on a weekend getaway at an island resort where they have no choice but to go with the tides. However, all the characters didn't have any voices, so I decided it might be cool if we changed that! If you are auditioning I highly recommend you familiarize yourself with the game beforehand!

Deuteragonist. Vonnie is sarcastic and calculated. She shows the least emotion out of everybody in the group, but it's clear she still cares about them and enjoys being there. She has a bit more of a sharper tone, and usually sounds a tad bit annoyed. Later on, she becomes MUCH more bitter and hateful, showing no more warmth in her voice.

(Playful/Nonchalant) Nothing, just admiring the cleanliness of the room one last time before you two open the zippers of these bags.
(Cold and Heartless) Do you really have to invade our space too? Ryan’s already sleeping on the couch, we barely have enough room.
(Scared and Desperate) No! Let go of me, I need this!
Deuteragonist. A bundle of pure joy and excitement. Carmen is a little childish and is incredibly extroverted. She is constantly smiling, joking, and being as friendly as possible to all of her friends. She seems to be a bit aloof and careless as well, not thinking much before acting. Later on, she becomes a bit more aggressive, even yelling at others. Try to be as expressive as possible when voicing this character.

(Disgusted into whiny) Why would we want lukewarm canned beer.. The resort has its own bar.. They have cocktails I wanna try!
(Relieved) *Excited squeal* Junebug! I was getting worried you got lost or something!
(Agitated to Furious) UGH! Are YOU gonna freak out at me too?! JUST SHUT UP!!!
Deuteragonist. McCoy is quite laid back and calm about things. He's very friendly and is always acting like he's on vacation(probably because they actually are on vacation wow). Later on, he becomes more disoriented and lost, losing that once friendly tone and replacing it with a dazed and terrified tone.
