Willow is around her mid-teens here — forced to act older than she is. She’s angry at the system, ashamed of being powerless, and terrified of being alone, but she hides all that behind sarcasm and defiance. She’s trying to act tough, but every time William’s name comes up, her composure cracks a little.
Tone: Lower-mid range, tired, restrained emotion.
Pitch: Medium — not too deep, but steady.
Emotion Style: Emotionally guarded, but with small breaks of vulnerability.
Oh, great. Another dead end. Just what I needed.
They think they’re helping him… but they’re just tearing us apart.
NOOOO! I WON'T LET YOU TAKE HIM AWAY!
William is younger (probably around 7–10). He’s sweet, quiet, and trusting, but doesn’t understand why everything’s falling apart.
This is the first time he’s realizing he might actually lose her, and that fear defines his voice.
Tone: Soft, panicked, crying through words.
Pitch: Mid-high (child voice, emotional).
Emotion: Fear, sadness, confusion.
Willow, that was scary. What do they want from us?
Why can’t I stay with you?! I’ll be good, I promise!
Willow… I’m scared…
He’s the landlord / owner of the apartment complex where Willow and William live. He’s known them for a while — maybe he’s been quietly keeping an eye on them since Willow’s parents disappeared.
Tone: Deep, raspy, fatherly.
Pitch: Low to medium-low.
Emotion: Calm and firm, but with moments of frustration or concern.
Hey! You’ve done enough! She’s just a kid!
Down the hallway, left door — hurry! I’ll stall them!
HAH! Take that you uhhhh...
Chronara is a dimension-walker, a being who exists between timelines and realities — watching as events loop and shatter. She’s not evil or good; she’s the embodiment of inevitability — she ensures that time and reality flow correctly.
Tone: Ethereal, calm, echo-like.
Pitch: Medium to low — slightly feminine but soft and otherworldly.
Emotion Style: Controlled but sorrowful. She rarely raises her voice; her emotion comes through in subtle breaks, not volume.
Do not be afraid, Willow. You stand between what was… and what must be.
ou seek your brother across broken time, but every path you take bends this world closer to ruin.
Go quickly! I opened a safe spot for you.
The CPS agent is the one who comes to take William away from Willow.
They aren’t evil — they genuinely believe they’re helping — but their lack of empathy makes them come across as an antagonist.
To Willow, they’re the villain who destroys her world.
To themselves, they’re just following procedure.
Tone: Firm, professional, monotone.
Pitch: Medium — neither too deep nor too high.
Emotion Style: Cold and composed, with a hint of impatience or pity.
Willow? We’re here for your brother, William. Please cooperate.
You’re too young to care for him on your own. This is for his safety.
DON'T RESSIST. THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT HARDER ON YOU!
