This is a short audio drama set just after Volume 4.
"One night in Mistral, Ruby has a nightmare about what happened during the Battle of Beacon. Turns out, she's not the only one having it rough..."

Ruby should overall sound tired, and sad. She's just had a nightmare about someone she couldn't save, and has carried the blame for in her own mind for months - try as she might, she can't make herself sound cheerful.
“Professor, that’s not true. You’re the one who let me into Beacon in the first place. You helped me so much. When I was doubting myself, when I didn’t know what to do. Because of you, I met Weiss, and Blake, and got to be with Yang, and… and you were right. I really should have danced that night.”
[quickly, rambling] “Of course he doesn’t, of course you don’t, he was probably already... when the tower fell, and the CCT is down and we’re in a completely different continent-" [pause]... It was about Pyrrha."
“It was all my fault. I wasn’t fast enough. Weiss and I went back for her and Jaune, and Jaune called us and asked us to save her, and I was the only one who could make it up the tower and I… I couldn’t…” [Ruby breaks down in tears] “She shot her, and I couldn’t do anything!”
Oscar is a socially awkward farm boy from outside Mistral. He should be pretty awkward around Ruby, but ultimately well-meaning and doing his best to be comforting.
[Oscar chuckles lightly] “Eh, that’s kinda up for debate. I was going to go make some coffee… not like I’m getting back to sleep any time soon anyways. Would you… like a cup?”
“It’s not exactly easy, having him in my head. There’s a lot of… bad. But, as much as I wanna hate him… I’ve kinda accepted at this point that it wasn’t up to either of us. Just gotta deal with it, really.”
“Ruby? I told you before that there’s a lot of bad in Oz’s memories. As much as I hate him in my head, I… don’t really think it’s my place to share any of it. But, from what I can tell? You, your team, the school… there’s a lot of good too. And I can tell that he’s proud of you.”
Should sound tired and sad - mirroring Ruby - but honestly grateful.
“Oscar… thank you.”
