Ashley Joanna Williams, or just Ash Williams is the main protagonist of the Evil Dead series created by Sam Raimi. He is a ruthless and brave hero who discovers a demonic book called the necronomicon, a book capable of summoning spirits. His primary means of dealing with the supernatural are his iconic chainsaw hand and his boomstick. Ash Williams goes by many names. Ashy Slashy, El Jefe, The King, etc. Beneath his charismatic demeanor, and sense of humor, there lies a broken man who has lost friends and has to constantly keep fighting evil, despite knowing that evil never truly dies.
