Project Overview
WHO ARE WE?
Rift Point Productions is an amateur organization utilizing discord that attempts to take popular shows such as Star Trek and Doctor Who, and create our own audio spin-offs. With our unique storylines and dedicated team behind these productions, we aim to expand the universes in which these shows take place. We run our operations entirely off of volunteers, so although we wish we could pay our hardworking team, it is currently beyond our ability to do so.
What is our project?
Our current project is Renewal: A Star Trek Fan Production, which follows the crew of the ship Resurgence adhering to the Star Trek Online timeline. It features a diverse cast, promising around 8-12 episodes per season. Follow Admiral Ownsby and his determined crew as they venture out in the name of exploration!
How can I help?
We are currently looking for actors and actresses to fill the roles for Episode 2 of our "Spinoff" series!
Requirements:
-Recording quality must be clear with little background noise.
-Once assigned to a role, please stay in touch with staff in case you are needed for private practice sessions!
-If inactive at any time during the duration of the project, you will be warned, and if you continue to be inactive, it will result in your role being replaced.
-We use Discord as our main platform, so you must have an account to continue to participate and access the scripts and other information.
-Be respectful to everyone! We all are volunteers who utilize our talents and passions to ultimately benefit the project, so be mindful of what you say!
-Above all else, be PROACTIVE! Ask voice actors to join you for practice sessions, ask for critique, provide ideas for Rift Point, and communicate in general! It's meant to be a community for those who join the Rift family, not a job!

[NANCY/FIVE] (cold) I am Five of Thirteen. I do not respond to the designation Nancy Dawson anymore. How do you know that name?
[FIVE OF THIRTEEN] (angry) If you persist in this conversation, I will kill you. Vacate my land at once!
(male) - Carefree and happy with life in the beginning of the story. Post-assimilation, however, he is unable to cope with life so much that he needs special help even existing and triggers easily and violently in both action and word, especially when he meets what became of his old friend.

(weak, disgusted, panicked) Why...why is a Borg (emphasis on Borg) here?!
(angry, pained) You liar! Adele died! The Borg killed her! How dare you come in here and pretend to be her, you filthy robot! (scoffs) I loved Adele! You're mocking her memory by saying you're her when you're nothing but a freak! GET OUT! MONSTER! YOU'RE A MONSTER!

Welcome to the Gold Coast, everyone. I am Captain Parker and I'll be your commanding officer for this five-year tour of duty. I'll hand out assignments and then explain a bit about our mission.
(nervous, uneasy) Oh, I suppose you would (emphasize would) keep that name. Um, what are you doing here?
(uneasy) Ah, yeah, Nancy...she's not doing so well with being back on Earth and she attacks anyone who does so much as mentions (emphasize mentions) anything (emphasize anything) to do with Starfleet. I tried to help her when I first found her, but I...I sort of have my hands full helping Stephen (pronounced Steven) right now.
