This Casting Call will be for a work in progress story called “Reflection” it focuses on the two main characters, Zinnia and Crew. The “supporting” characters are just as important, just not the focus of the story. Once voice actors are selected I’ll also be looking for artists/ animators to help with small scenes of it! Crew is the main Dirtto and like the glue that holds them all together, he can’t speak, rather he chirps like a bird and has a basic “happy” kind of personality.
Any chirping/high pitched bird like noises.
Zinnia is a snarky, hot headed assassin assigned to kill off Crew. As time passes and she observes how best to be rid of him, but she find herself unable to harm him. Thus she decides to stick with him and the others to protect them, in turn rescinding her role as an assassin and leading to a dangerously close encounter with the head hell hound of Hell, her boss, Krizon.
(*Disgusted*) Him? /He's/ my next target? Don't you think that's, I don't know, a waste of my skills?

(Preferably slightly British!) Pepper, Paprika and Saffron's sweet, songbird of a mother, lives for the little moments where she can enjoy everything around her. She's the definition of "mom friend" and adores spending time with her beloved family.

Silas is a big clumsy dad figure but almost everyone loves him. He’s extremely overprotective of Pepper and his kids and likes to play all together as a family. He's a little all over the place, but he means well.
Paprika get down from there! You see your brother?! He sits here safe and sound and doesn't complain! And also doesn't climb the highest tree in sight!!
You've noticed her too, right? The slinky lady in the bushes, always trailing behind us? Am I the only one whose just a /little/ bit concerned by that? No? Just me?
Pep, I'm not afraid. It's called being overly cautio- yeah I'm afraid.
Paprika is the oldest of Pepper and Silas. She just adores music and teasing Saffron. Her and Crew (who she see's as her uncle) go exploring a lot, which most of the time end up giving Saffron worrying headaches.
Come on Saffy! I'm not waiting all day for you to just tiptoe down a hillside.

Saffron is the youngest sibling and also is quite paranoid (presumably inherited from his father). He loves his family very much and he’s the sibling who actually thinks things through before acting- although sometimes he just ends up thinking too much and talks himself out of doing anything. He considers himself responsible for any and all dumb things Paprika decides to do.
Um, Dad? I think Paprika ran off. Again. Without supervision. Again.

What if she's hurt? Or worse... I don't know how to "go have fun" with her if she wont take care of herself!
Thorne worked with Zinnia in the assassination business before he went rogue and decided to become a bounty hunter of sorts. In his younger years he flirted with Pepper a lot, which mostly just resulted in a pissed off Silas (which is probably why he did it). Now he’s just a frivolous flirt and too deadly for his own good.
*Flirty* Well hullo there gorgeous, I'd gladly show you to the nearest lake, but I'm supposed to kill you.
*Sarcastic/unenthusiastic* Take a look at that, there’s a couple of love birds I never thought I’d have to see again. How are you? Those bundles of joy yours?

Harvey, famous for his musical abilities, is a humble lad and a talented singer. Later on he meets Paprika and they raise their son Jazzy together with the rest of the Dirttos.

Jazzy’s a little lad who’s a little nervous to admit that he has a famous mom and dad, but he does love to play outside and know way too much about bugs.
There’s ladybugs, butterflies, centipedes, millipedes, pill bugs, moths, aphids, ants, bees, wasps, dragonflies, etcétera etcétera!
Yeah but look at this one! This ladybug has six spots! So she’s six years old!... I think.
Nana! Did you see the SIZE of that grasshopper? He must’ve been a whole 3 inches big!
Krizon is the big bad antagonist for this storyline. He’s the Head Hound of Hell, and thusly trains all of the assassins under his command. He’s ruthless, dark, and doesn’t care about anyone but himself.
Yes, that one. He was specifically selected for reasons that I don’t care to share with you.
What is she doing? She’s. /Right./ /There./ Just slit his throat or something!

Honey Comb adores all wildlife and therefore naturally gets along with Jazzy. She’s sweet and doesn’t like violence and will often shy away from any conflict. Otherwise she has a dream of growing a field of sunflowers for her future children.
*Sad/understanding* You don’t have to do this you know. You /have/ a choice.
Your sister looks like quite the handful huh? She reminds me of a dandelion. Fun, full of wishes, and a little bit all over the place. *Giggles*
