Project Background:
Random Doom was a Pokémon webcomic made by TamarinFrog. It's about the experiences of different Pokémon of the Canelli-Hawthorne Ranch in Sinnoh, sometimes getting into dangerous situations.

Over the years, I have watched many dub projects begin with Issue 1, "A Riolu is Born," and quietly stop before moving forward. This project aims to break that cycle by providing a fresh, faithful dub continuation. All contributions will be credited in the description.
Just a small disclaimer though: This is more of a passion project than anything else. Due to the status of the comic and the current algorithms, I don't know if it's going to garner any traction, but I encourage those who choose to work on it to share it wherever they see fit.
Current Issue:
As Team RD takes a trip to Veilstone City, night falls, and they stop to rest. The Fighting Trio is still awake and stumbles across the legendary Old Chateau. There, they encounter ghastly new foes within the haunted hallways. Can they escape, or will they be doomed to roam among the dead?

It's been a work in progress for a couple of months, but it's all coming together. Most of the paneling is done, the voice work is next, and the editing/SFX is the final cog in the machine.
I hope this project catches many peoples' eyes for what it's worth. Thank you in advance to anyone and everyone that submits an audition!

A laid-back toxicroak with a sweet tooth too big to handle. Usually the chill one of the group, this chapter has him lead the Fighting Trio into a heap of trouble.
Definitely try to go for a chilled-out approach, with some frustration when dealing with "sugar withdrawls," but accent-wise? Rupert's kind of a blank slate like the rest of the cast, and like the others, I'd say to get creative. It's not necessary but it'd make things interesting

A goofy, friendly Lucario too nice for this earth. He's very cheery and, while not very bright, doesn't let the bad overcome the good. He's close friends with Rupert and his crush, Veruka.
In this issue, Vincent has to overcome struggles with his weak aura, as well as his fear of the dark.
I think for this voice, I want it to have range. Some of the lines will require you to raise your voice during the conflict/action panels, and to sound dimwitted for much of it.
Accent-wise, I think going with flat/basic is fine, since the older dubs went the same direction

Veruka is an infernape, and the leading presence of the ranch. Her summary characteristic is strong-willed, and described in her bio as a “Proud and Hardworking type.” When not striving to keep the ranch in check, she’s often meditating alone or with her best friends in the Fighting Trio. She has feelings for Vincent, but doesn’t openly reciprocate.
She's a bit of a blank slate with accents, so I'd say go with what's listed if you can, but it's not necessary to give her more than a flat one.
I do think that something Mediterranean or Germanic would be nice though.

A self-proclaimed thief living in Elisa Canelli's attic. Followed by Merry, the two thieves got themselves—and Team RD, into a pickle.
I definitely think Danny should sound higher-pitched, like a cunning little imp the Sabeleye is supposed to be. Maybe Australian for the accent? Brooklyner? Sky's the limit with how crooked you can make him sound. Additionally he has no real gender as a sabeleye, maybe an androgynous sounding voice could work

Between her and Danny, Merry is the softer, friendlier thief of the two, and her leader's self-proclaimed "Girlfriend."
Another truly blank slate. Though, I will say that this one is probably more fit for a higher-pitched delivery to annoy Danny. I'd say work off of what the other VA has for Danny to get a clue.

A disturbed, angry ghost-type with a distaste for food thieving trespassers. He seeks nothing but to torture those who trespass onto the Old Chateau grounds, and with the ghosts' big dinner ruined, any excuse will do.
This one... Go with a malicious, deep voice, or something similar. As long as it sounds like he's a demented ghost-type more than eager to chisel someone's skull.

Elisa runs the Canelli-Hawthorne Ranch. She's a bit goofy, but that's never stopped her from ambition and perseverance through it all.
Elisa's another one of those blank slates, but I encourage a basic female voice for her. She also doesn't have a lot of voice lines in this issue, so like Ross, she's more or less a standby role for the later issues when we get rolling

Co-owner of the Canelli-Hawthorne Ranch. She’s Elisa’s ride-or-die, and while not seen often in the comics, she’s known for keeping things in check.
Most definitely British or Australian, if nothing else. However, her actual involvement is minimal. It's more of a standby role for when she actually does appear onscreen.
Definitely a role for someone who can go 0-100 too, because there's one line where she goes OFF in anger.

Ross is a timid, kind Raichu with a crush on his best friend Saria. As Elisa's favorite Pokemon companion, she prefers to keep him outside of his Poké Ball.
This is more of a standby role; the most I'll have you do is make grunts/worried noises to convey how he feels in this dub. If the project gets off the ground, you'll have more of a speaking role in Veilstone City and onwards.
As for what I want for him exactly, accent/voice-wise? Go with anything, but i’d definitely say either slight Irish or flat American, with a soft tone.
