The Cost of Vengeance: A FoF Machinima
Project Overview
PLOT
In the 1860s, a man's family was killed in a brutal robbery gone wrong. On his way back to the saloon, he witnesses a lone man escaping on foot from the bloody saloon. Nearly two decades later, the man known only as The Vengeful Spirit tracks this supposed killer to a Border Town.
With a brace of Colt Walkers, liquid courage, and a mind set on revenge, he tears through the town recklessly, only to realize: Was it truly worth it?

Sheriff MacLeod is a weathered old veteran who intercepts the attack on his town. Followed by Ned after showing his gratitude, they work together with the deputies to stop the Vengeful Spirit.

Your work is highly appreciated, Mr. Reed.
What the hell is that?
That fool's gonna bring the entire town down!
An appreciated shotgun messenger from the East. His role is to support the sheriff and intercept when the town is attacked.
I want Ned to sound older. Around this time, he's in his late 30s to early 40s. Not super gravelly, but you can tell he's been around for a while. Go for something like a soft transatlantic accent, since he hails from NYC and (informally) from Chicago.

Small-town beer is enough to pay for helping you.
That’s a mad gunman— GET DOWN!
Our arms are downstairs; make haste!
There was once a Californio, a poor traveler from the border. He marauded with his posse for easy money, but was never a killer.
Somewhere along the Southwest, the man wound up robbing a hotel in what later became FoF_Depot. He was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time and a target for the Vengeful Spirit. He was named the "Killer," unbeknownst to them.
While it's not strictly necessary, I think this role is good for someone who can sound younger and older, since the story's timeline includes a brief time skip from the 1860s to the 1880s. I want him to sound scared and explain, like an innocent man falsely accused.

No, no, wait! I can explain!
I don't think this is a good idea.
I was trying to stop them!
The Vengeful Spirit's most regretful memory was not showing his father more love in their last peaceful moment. Not only did he lose a good man, but he lost a shred of mercy when he obtained his Colt Walker.
The Father should sound old, combative, yet calm during action sequences. Whether or not he's grizzled is up to you, but he's been a working man for half the century. Instead of a plain country accent, I recommend going with anything. Eastern European, American, Scandinavian, anything different.

Good riddance. I was afraid you'd flip the table.
Goddamn lapdog. Stay down.

The Vengeful Spirit had a brother. Not just any brother, but a loyal one who stood by him. He wasn't afraid to question the Spirit's decisions, but deeply wanted justice too.
I don't think the Spirit's Brother should sound like the average Southern hick, like in every other Western. Try something a bit flatter or different than the stereotypical country boy.

Look, Brother, the old man's just needling. You gotta learn to relax.
There's one on the walkway!
I found another one, with cartridges too.
The Vengeful Spirit's friends and family were murdered in cold blood in the 1860s. They were mostly compliant, but impatience and paranoia sealed everyone's fate.
This one may be the most active role I have to offer. It's going to require you to do death screams/rattles and panicked voices. You'll want to sound desperate, afraid, maybe a bit combative, since I don't want it to be a completely one-sided exchange for the scenes where your talent is needed.

There's no need to be like this!
God, no!

You're not gonna kill me easily!
You bastard!
*Grunt* ...Shit.
The Southwestern Bandit Leader was the real reason the Vengeful Spirit existed at all. He's cold, pragmatic, but ultimately dumb enough not to read a room as he should've.
I want the Leader to be cold and practical. Experienced, older, but anything goes as long as it doesn't sound like Kevin McAllister doing it.

Hands up.
They've seen our faces. We'll be on the press soon.
And soon, the branches.
The Southwestern Bandits are just a generic highwayman gang. They don't live very long, but their actions created the Vengeful Spirit in the process.
One of these bandits was a Whacker. Whackers are melee fanatics, too eager to swipe at anything with a hatchet, and too good at disposing of the remains.
In this case, "Sadistic Killer" comes to mind. I'll need someone who can produce at least a chuckle for when he gets into action, and a sinister delivery for the voice lines.

Where do you think you're going?
Come here, buddy.
Following the mid-60s shootout, the "Killer" decided to make a more passive gang, drifting from town to do the occasional odd job, never truly leaving the outlaw life, but always sticking to petty thievery and racketeering, which made them angels among other gangs in the country.
Nothing really special about this one. Just give a few voice lines that work, maybe improvise. These are just disposable mooks for the Vengeful Spirit.

Boss, run!
