Hello! :)
I am looking to cast voices for my 2-3 minute thesis film The School of Visual Arts titled Quarter Till Victory.
Quarter till Victory is a comedic 2 to 3 minute animated short film. Cody goes to his local washateria to give his long overdue clothes a good wash. However, he is quickly distracted by a space-themed video game in the waiting area and deems the arcade machine a much better use of his laundry money. Cody is determined to beat the all-time high score, getting lost in fighting pixelated aliens and spaceships up until his last quarter. In his defeat, realizes he has won nothing but soggy clothes, as he has no
money left for the dryer.
This project is on a STUDENT BUDGET! (5 Dollars per line, 10 Lines in total plus some short background lines )

Cody Landeira is a very determined 15 year old. He is always trying to learn more about the cosmos in any way possible, so seeing a space themed game in his washeteria was an easy distraction. He is stubborn, and always determined to do his best. In Quarter Till Victory some of his hard headed habits will come to the light as he refuses to give up his imaginary intergalactic fight until he is number one on the leaderboard.
- Looking for Hispanic and Latino Voice Actors!
- Cody is trans, any interpretation of his voice is welcome! (Trans and NB Talent encouraged)
- MUST have good microphone quality.
- 3 takes max per line for audition
- Please keep audition on a single file with .mp3 or .wav format. Take pauses between each line.
- May also need to record a few gasps and other noises.
- Needs to be available to do possible retakes, in case of script changes.
