- EPISODE OVERVIEW -
"Pulse" is episode 4 of the fourth season of "She-Ra: Princess of Power". It follows most of the main cast as they work around the Horde's new high-tech robot soliders. A new mole exists within the Rebellion and Glimmer gains some complicated feelings after being complimented by Shadow Weaver.
- THE FANDUB ITSELF -
This fandub is being headed by myself and a close friend of mine. We have been planning on doing a She-Ra fandub for a while, but we never decided on an episode until now. Choosing "Pulse" was a personal choice, and we hope you will enjoy voicing over it with us.
We plan on making a blooper reel with whatever mess-ups our cast send in and posting that on YouTube (and the full-length fandub itself if we can work around copyright). This episode has a decent range of characters which allows for a larger cast and we would love to work on more episodes in the future if all goes well.
We aren't looking for vocal accuracy as much as we're looking for passion.

Hello to all of those who have auditioned so far! Me and my other casting director have been listening to all of them (and we love themm).
I extended the deadline by a week exactly so we can get in a couple auditions for characters who haven't gotten any yet. Casting for each character should come within the remaining month.

Adora, or She-Ra on occasion, is the main character. She's a strong and brave soldier, often rushing to save those she loves. Her voice is medium-high.
(cautious) Everyone, be ready. Our scouts reported the Horde is transporting a new prototype weapon. And they wouldn't brave the Whispering Woods unless it was something powerful.
Even with healing, he's still going to need some time to recover.
(brave) I can take it from here. I'm not leaving until I destroy this bot.
Bow is an up-beat and cheery fighter. He helps lead the Rebellion alongside Adora and best friend Glimmer. He has a medium-low masculine voice and a wide range of emotions.
(cautious) If I know Entrapta, this thing is gonna be big, unpredictable and...invisible.
(wounded) Don't worry about me. I'm fine. I'm just, you know, gonna lie here for a bit. [grunts]
(optimistic) Never been better. [hears teammates shout] Okay, we've been slightly better.
Glimmer is a young princess who helps lead the rebellion. She's short-tempered and stubborn but passionate. Her voice is medium-high.
(stressed) How do they keep doing this? No matter where I send you, the Horde always shows up to ruin the mission. And I'm just sitting here, I--
(annoyed, insecure) I get it. I'm the daughter of an angelic being and a powerful sorcerer, and I'll never be as good as either of them.
(ready) Show me how to think like she does, so I can figure out her next move before anyone else gets hurt.
Catra is a callous and sly Horde soldier who's head-to-head with She-Ra. She hired DT to go undercover for her. Her voice is medium-low
(amused) I can't get over how ridiculous you look, "Flutterina.".
(confident, foreshadowing) She-Ra's not going to find anything. But they'll all see the weapon when the time comes.
(brushing-off) Yeah, great, whatever. Is there any news?
Flutterina is a sweet, naive child who is secretly a shapeshifter in disguise.
Double Trouble is a trickster-for-hire who's pretty sly.
(Flutterina, hopeful) Next time, then. Rebellion Soldier Flutterina is ready. Have fun.
(Flutterina-To-DT, gossip-y) Right? I said to myself, "Double Trouble, what sort of character would the Princesses trust?" Someone tooth-achingly cute and pink.
(DT, sly) Espionage is a long game, kitten. The Rebels are tired, demoralized. [laughing]
Spinnerella is one of the original ladies from the Princess Alliance. She is warm and caring, mostly towards her wife Netossa. Her voice is medium-low (think motherly).
(worried) Darling, your arm.
It's an ambush. Again.
(annoyed) See, this is why no one comes to game night anymore. Adora, tell her.
Netossa is a fierce competitor. She's the wife of Spinnerella and another original member of the princess alliance. Her voice is medium-low and very energetic
(boastful) Uh-huh? Nice try. Spinnerella refuses to accept that I busted two more bots than she did, so I'm winning.
(ready to fight) This one's mine. Ha! Two for one. Still winning. [laughs then gasps]
(arguing) Maybe people don't come to game night because you insist on serving vegetable platters. No one likes vegetable platters. Right, Adora?
He is a horse. He has a deep voice. He scares me.
(struggling to fit in the entrance) Did someone say Swift Wind? Swift-- Hang on. Did someone say--?
Shadow Weaver is a convict and current "prisoner" under Bright Moon. She, at one point, was a leader for the Horde. She has a very deep feminine voice.
(wise) You're trying to be like your mother, overseeing things from afar. But you are not her. You must decide for yourself what kind of queen you will be.
I've come to tend my garden.
Magic, of course. A location spell is a simple but powerful tool for any young sorcerer. All it takes is a few ingredients...and the will to see it through.
Juliet is a General Soldier for Bright Moon. Nothing special except her loyalty. Deeper feminine voice.
The Horde must have figured out we were going after the transport and laid a trap.
This is an ensemble part! There is no particular personality or voice attatched to them. Go haywire. You have like one line.
[ Literally just yell or shout or something. It's a soldier, all you'll be doing is making noise. ]
