Our previously casted Sayaka has left for personal reasons, so I've opened the call back up! Please feel free to audition, we'd love to hear you!
Puella Idol Madoka Magica- A Love Live x Madoka Crossover Project!
Project Overview
Hi everyone! I'm back at it again with a new crossover project- Puella Idol Madoka Magica! This will be a crossover between Love Live! and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
I plan on releasing covers as well as some story videos telling the story of Madoka and her friends becoming idols, similar to the stories in LLSIF. The covers will be in Japanese, and the story segments will be in English.
I will be self casting as Homura Akemi, as I feel my voice suits her fairly well.
Roles are listed below, and their descriptions will be in the audition boxes!
Requirements for auditioning
1. Have a decent mic (that just means low bg noise)
2. Be good with your Japanese pronunciation, and make sure you're familiar enough with the song you're singing that you do your best!
3.Don't be mean to other people's auditions. Constructive criticism is okay, but only if the user asks for it.
4. Have a Discord or be willing to make one if you are cast!

Madoka has a shy personality, but when she begins to feel confident in herself, she truly shines bright! (As any of you who've seen Madoka Magica know haha)
Her personality is reflected in her voice. Her voice is soft and high, but can be strong when she's passionate. An example of her (Japanese) voice actress singing as Madoka is See You Tomorrow.
The ideal voice type for Madoka will be gentle and a mix of high and medium pitched.
"I'm Madoka Kaname! I'm a second year at Mitakihara, and a brand new school idol! Mami just introduced us to this world, so I'm a little nervous... but I'll do my best!"

Sayaka has an outgoing personality, but can actually get really shy when she's insecure.
Her singing voice is strong and medium pitched, as seen in her duet with Kyoko. Another example of her (Japanese) voice actress singing is Rasen.
The ideal voice type for Sayaka will be powerful and a mix of medium and low pitched.
"I'm Sayaka Miki. I guess I'm supposed to introduce myself? Well, I'm pretty new to this, and honestly I'm not so sure my personality fits a school idol, but uh... well, Madoka seems eager to do this, and who knows, it might be fun. So, I'll work hard!"

Mami has a rather introverted personality, keeping distant from others most of the time and preferring to be seen in a professional role.
Her singing voice is calm and medium pitched. Stairs is her character song, so please use that as a reference!
The ideal voice type for Mami will be refined sounding and a mix of medium and low pitched.

Kyoko is brash on the outside, but once you get to know her she actually cares quite a lot.
Her singing voice is somewhat husky and powerful, as seen in her duet with Sayaka.
The ideal voice type for Kyoko will be strong with a hint of sassiness, and a mix of medium and low pitched.
"Uh, I'm Kyoko Sakura. This really, really isn't my thing, but Sayaka dragged me into it... Well, if it's something that everyone else wants to do, and it's not hurting me, then I guess it's okay. So, we'll be working together from now on."

The reason I have this split into two different roles is because I don't want to overwhelm the editors with too much to work on!
The Story video editor will be creating the videos for our story segments. It will be fairly basic animation (think of the SIF stories), with syncing text and audio and creating text scrolling animation, etc.

The Cover video editor will be creating the animations for our covers! This will likely be more difficult than the Story video editor, as animation requires a lot of creativity and decent software. If you think you're up for it, please do audition!
