Project Overview
VOICE ACTOR CASTING — INDIE ANIMATION PILOT (Original Work)
Non-Union | Remote | Paid Per Episode
Approximately 9–12 episodes (season 1).
Planned episode runtime is approximately 20–25 minutes per episode.
SERIES OVERVIEW
This pilot series is a dark sci-fi psychological action adventure set inside a surreal, game-like containment world of shifting environments, living toys, and unstable rules where participants must survive structured “runs” by forming binding contracts with entities that act as companions, tools, or threats. These bonds carry heavy emotional and psychological consequences, making survival depend as much on mental stability and relationships as on strategy. As the story progresses, the cast discovers that they aren't simply a game but a controlled system with hidden intent, overseen by unseen administrators, and as the rules begin to break down, they are forced to confront the possibility that escape is not the end goal—only transformation or assimilation into something larger.

Character C is shy, quiet, and deeply lacking in self-confidence, often second-guessing himself and staying in the background due to his tendency to not trust his own judgment. He usually speaks softly and hesitantly, but in rare, extreme moments of pressure or emotional collapse, he “snaps” into a completely different state -becoming chaotic, energized, and unsettlingly cheerful while acting with dangerous intensity and precision.
Voice direction: Soft, uncertain baseline voice with rare but extreme emotional shifts into a fast-paced, energetic, and unsettlingly upbeat tone that contrasts sharply with his usual nervous demeanor.

Character D is clumsy, sarcastic, blunt, and the group’s troublemaker who always speaks his mind without hesitation. He hides his past and emotional pain behind humor, teasing, and constant joking, often using sarcasm to deflect serious moments or avoid getting too close to others emotionally. Beneath the joking and provocations, there are brief moments where his vulnerability slips through, revealing that he cares more than he lets on.
Voice direction: Confident, quick-witted, and slightly reckless delivery with a natural comedic timing. Can shift into more grounded, emotionally strained moments when his humor breaks down.

Character E is a theatrical, cinematic, and highly performative antagonist who treats every moment like part of a staged show. As the commanding presence behind “The Playhouse,” he exerts control through charisma, psychological manipulation, and dramatic presence rather than force, always speaking as if he is being watched and wants to be remembered. His personality is precise, controlled, and intentionally expressive, with a constant sense that he is performing for an unseen audience.
Voice direction: Calm, commanding, and deliberately paced with a strong theatrical cadence. Every line should feel intentional and performance-like, with subtle intensity and a sense of controlled spectacle underneath.

Character F is a mysterious, human-like presence known for keeping secrets and revealing very little about his true intentions. He is highly observant, rarely speaks, and prefers to communicate through presence, silence, and subtle actions rather than words, only speaking when absolutely necessary. When he does speak, his voice is deep, controlled, and calm, carrying a strong, composed masculine presence that feels both comforting and unsettling at the same time.
Voice direction: Minimal dialogue role. Extremely controlled, quiet, and deliberate delivery. When speaking, the tone should be deep, smooth, and emotionally restrained, with an unsettling sense of calm and authority. Strong emphasis on silence, timing, and presence over dialogue.

Character G is elegant, charming, and dangerously charismatic. She carries herself with the confidence of someone accustomed to getting what she wants, speaking with a refined, polished manner that immediately stands out from everyone around her. Beneath her smooth flirtation and playful teasing lies a possessive streak—she becomes surprisingly jealous when attention shifts away from her and rarely enjoys losing control of a situation. While she often appears warm and inviting, there is always a subtle sense that she is evaluating everyone around her for her own amusement.
Voice direction: Smooth, refined, and effortlessly confident. Slightly sophisticated or upper-class accent. Flirtation should feel natural rather than exaggerated. Capable of shifting from playful charm to quiet jealousy or possessive intensity without raising her voice much. Even when upset, she remains composed and elegant.
