I was inspired to try voice acting while watching Kuroko's Basketball in middle school (2014/2015); I was learning how to play basketball for the middle school basketball team. The show had no English dub at the time (it was during the third season), so I would voice act the subtitles and try to act out different voices for different characters.
I got a Blue Yeti microphone in 2018; my first project was a comic dub of the series Chew listed on the website called Behind the Voice Actors. The project ultimately never got off the ground, but I ended up reading through the entire comic and really enjoyed it.
I created a CCC account in 2019, my senior year of high school, and starting creating vocal covers of various songs I liked at the time. During the COVID Shutdown I worked as a landscaper and saved up enough money to purchase a decent recording setup.
During my sophomore year of college I started to get cold feet on voice acting; partly because of college football and theater, and partly because I just didn't want to annoy my roommates. I ended up deleting my account and Discord, and over time most of the projects I were in completely vanished from the internet.
Now in 2026, I live alone and have a lot more time to pursue voice acting as a hobby. I try to find professional looking projects that seem like they will get off the ground, or I'll just post a joke audition to try and get a laugh or two. It's all in good fun.
