Psycho-Pass Main Roles Recasting
Project Overview
Hi, thanks for taking the time to view this casting call. I am directing a Psycho-Pass fandub on my Youtube channel and am in need of an actress and actor for main roles in future episodes (We've done 4 so far). Psycho-Pass is an anime based in future Tokyo in a city that revolves around control and a person's psychological health. This control is facilitated by a computer system called sibyl that dictates the job that one will have based on a kind of aptitude test. Most people test into only one or two jobs. The main character, Akane Tsunemori is the exception, for she proves to be able to do pretty much anything. She chooses the difficult job of being a police inspector. Along the way, she learns more about what it means to have such a job and the flaws in the Sibyl system.

I'd like for the actors and actresses to have some kind of experience with ADR/Anime dubbing if possible. If not, I'm happy to teach by request. Akane is a typical college graduate who is learning about what it means to make certain decisions in life and face the consequences. Her consequences are little more dire due to her job as a police inspector. She's surrounded by co-workers that share their knowledge on life, but ultimately she has a hopeful view of people that most don't have. As a result, her psycho-pass (psychological level) is always clear.
However, there's not doubt that Talisman has gotten caught up in some sort of crime. You helped because deep down you knew you couldn’t ignore it, right?
But…*sigh*
Mr. Masaoka (Mah-sah-oh-kah). I think people like you aren’t very common anymore.. Isn’t using the net just like using knives for cooking or using paper to write things down? It has nothing to do with good or bad. It’s like.. it’s there so we accept it and use it.
I'd like for the actor voicing Shogo to have some experience with ADR/Anime dubbing if possible. If not, I'm happy to teach by request. Shogo is an intelligent individual who likes to manipulate situations for the joy of seeing people suffer. This manipulation has already caused multiple deaths in the series from people that normally wouldn't do them. Shogo is a sociopath who is indifferent about what happens to others because of his actions. His planning/strategic skills are incredible to the point that it takes 24 episodes to bring him down. He likes to make appearances in a case to push the story in an unexpected direction.
You have thorough knowledge of various Avatars, and imitate them perfectly.You can become anyone. So I was very interested in what your real personality was like. That is why I lent you my people, and assistance.
