Project Overview

Hey everybody! This is a casting call for the original series "Psycho" and before you say it, this isn't a remake of the movies, nor any anime. This is my own story, to which I have created it before even learning about other said stories. This story goes over a man named Scott, and his never dying will to make the world a better place before he leaves it. Simply put, he wants to help people be happy and live their lives without harming anyone that hasn't wronged anyone. But a man named Michael, he considers to a brother through bond. Though Michael does not have this view of life, and to which he does not care if anyone will suffer as long as he's happy in the end. Scott has managed to stop Michael from doing anything drastic before. That is until a woman named Kenzie comes into play. She's lived quite the life to say the least...She's done drugs, parties, lied, cheated and robbed people of a lot in her lifespan. And at first sight...Michael falls in love with her. Scott at the time, tries his best to learn about Kenzie and help see if they would be a good fit, mainly because he has a good eye for reading people. Only to figure out that she was not interested in Michael, even the slightest, if not a little annoyed by him. She was interested in Scott though. Scott attempted to "woo" her for Michael to help him get his first girlfriend, while giving her a job to an underground criminal company that Scott worked for. The Thieves of Thieves department. They only stole from people that have stolen before. (Scott hired Kenzie before he knew that Michael had feelings for her.) Scott fought any feelings that were grew for Kenzie, because Michael was like a brother to him, he couldn't betray his family like that. Later on Scott saw it was best if Kenzie were to be fired, to protect her and Michael, and their friends. Just looking out for them...Nobody saw it like that though. They saw Scott as an evil heartless bastard for taking this opportunity away from her. Scott tired again and again to make it up to them to find out that Kenzie was toying with Michael's mind. Making him do things that isn't like him at all. When confronted about it, Michael was already long gone, she manipulated him into hating Scott. Somehow Michael turns Scott's friends, and family, everyone he cares about on him, making them hate Scott in someway. Driving Scott down a dark path, to where his ideology gets a whole more twisted. He starts writing out plans, predictions, theories, about what they'll do, how, and when they'll do anything. He spends weeks of creating alternate timelines based off of past decisions that they did, so he'll be prepared to do what's next. Which is to make Michael go through Scott's 18 steps of life. To finally turn him into a man, because he has acted like a kid for far too long...

This project's deadline will jump around a lot, due to me not being finished with the season 1 script but also because I want the best for this project. If that means I got to delay it, I will. To let you all know, this series will not strictly be a visual novel. I'm planning on creating the first two episodes like this,(more if needed) to get some attention and funding to make this an actual live action series. In which I cannot fund all that myself, so I'll spend whatever I can here to get to that point.

Rule #1 : Be 16 or older to audition for any of these roles.

Rule #2 : Must have discord, so that I may be able to contact you and send scripts out.

Rule #3 : This isn't necessarily a rule, but if you are sensitive to anything that isn't PC I highly recommend that you don't audition.

Rule #4 : For all the people that are casted, you will only be allowed 2 roles. (But you may audition for every role offered, just you're only gonna get two.)

Rule #5 : I want you to be passionate about this, not just in it for the money, also this a low budget project that I'm paying for out of my pocket. Meaning prices are non-negotiable.

Rule #6 : Please have a decent quality microphone. I can't be dealing with background noise nor static or anything of the sort.

Rule #7 : Don't be afraid to criticize. As long as it's actually constructive and toxicity, I am all open for it. I'm trying my hardest. to make this project become the best

  • I'm finally starting to cast.

    If you have auditioned for a role here, and if I like what you have to offer (In terms of voice acting, of course.)   • All roles for episode 1 are up now!

    I have finally posted all the roles for episode 1 now. So feel free to audition for some other characters if you wish. Hopefully I'll have some more news on who will be getting casted in February (I've already picked a few of you out.) Though you may not be getting any of the lines right away, that's more likely to happen in either March or April depending upon how limited my funding is at that time. But keep up good work people!     Happy new years everybody! I want you all to know, that I am still active with this project and I've listened to every single audition so far. Some of you, are definitely contenders. Some of you are a bit far back, but that's okay. I'll be adding more roles soon. Also, I won't be casting anyone till February or March. Mainly to see all what you have to offer, but to make sure that I am able to pay you after the work is done. Michael Preston is 21 years old. He's fun guy to hang around to be friends with. He brings the inner child of everyone out around him. Overall doesn't seem like a bad guy, till you know his selfish and his insecurities that Kenzie takes advantage of. Though we won't get to see much of his happy self, due to the mental torture he endures, changes him.

The first line, you should be sounding a bit guilty. Michael feels guilt after the dispute that had happened earlier with Scott and their friends.

The second line you should be screaming for your life. A man just killed your parents right in front of you, and you're being kidnapped. The bit after that, you should have a little bit of a jitter in your voice, frightened and scared.

The final line you should be sounding a little desperate, but turns into a little bit of anger.

  • “I don’t know. I sorta feel bad, but he was just getting out of control.”


    “Yeah...Right. I’ll be home in an hour or so, I’ll call you then, alright babe?”

  • “SOMEBODY HELP! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!”


    *slightly panicking*“I mean yeah. T-That sounds like me.”

  • “I-I wanted to feel something...I wanted to be loved...”


    “What we had...It was real...You were jealous...”

Kenzie Hunterson is quite the woman. She's 27 years old, but doesn't act her age all too well. She has done many things in her life, some bad, little good. She is a very good liar\manipulator. Not all of her is bad, or well when she isn't trying to screw you over. She hates all men that can't be controlled by her, and if it isn't her way, it's the highway.

The first line you should sound loving, as if you're talking to an intimate partner. (Please don't do a seductive tone of voice. Feel free to redo your auditions.)

The second line you should be sounding confident. Proud of yourself for scaring a man off.

The final line you should have a worried\angry tone of voice. Knowing that you'll have to hunt a man down later on. ( I changed the second Oregon to "there" due to it sounded out of place. Feel free to redo your audition.)

  • “It means. That we scared him off. He got exposed, and for that, he’ll probably run off like the pussy he is. So don’t worry about him.”


    “Then don’t feel bad. It’s what he gets for trying to get in between us.”

  • “Oregon?...No, no, no...It can’t be Scott. Shit! He’s the only person that lives there, that could do this. It has to be him behind this...That son of a bitch.”

Chief Barnes is currently the Chief of Police down in Las Vegas. He's managed to takeout a fair share of crime down there, but it's Las Vegas, there's only so much you can clean before it pops back up in a different spot. He's in his early 60's and has been with the force for almost 40 years. He should have a light philly accent along with a deep toned voice.

The first line should sound formal, and calm, while a little happy towards the end as if an old friend contacted you.

The second line just talk as if you were speaking to subordinates.

The final line you should have a little concern in your voice as if you're talking to an old partner you use to work with.

  •                                       “Chief Barnes speaking, who's this?”

    “Oh hey, how are you doing?”

  • “Be careful with that. We are turning the case over to Detective Judah.”


    “He’s been tracking this murderer for a good couple of years. Building a huge damn case against the perp. Pretty much once they’re caught, they aren’t ever gonna see the light of the day again.”

  • “Yeah, yeah...We are wrapping everything up. You should be getting the files and evidence here in a few days.”


    “You know, if you ever need new fresh eyes to look over the case. I’m your man, I know trying to solve a case for months at a time may get you overthinking, or overlooking some important information.”

Jager is a 26 year old Mexican drug dealer and a hacker. Well of a sort. He's been friends with Scott for years, ever since they were both teens. He enjoys a good bowl or toke of pot almost everyday. There isn't really a time when he isn't high, but he got smarts, street wise, and tech wise. Even though he acts like a dumb ass. For this character, do a bit of a stoner voice. Not too heavy but have a light tone of it.

First line you should sound calm, as you explain what he found.

Second line, you should sound a little enthusiastic if not a little excited.

Final line, you should have a concerned tone, while a little angry.

  • “Yo what’s up?”


    “Yeah, yeah. I finished it. Michael’s gun is taped to behind his drawer, while the granny has a snub nosed .38 in her purse, which she will most likely be carrying. Uh the cameras were a bit of a difficult problem…”

  • “If it has this kind of money, count me down for it.”


    “Hell yeah man. This is the easiest money I ever made.”

  • “Yoo what the fuck happened to you man? You straight up disappeared.”


    “Bruh, you being serious? You said at night.”

Bastion is 19 years old, and he's Puerto Rican, though he was born in America. He's know Michael for several years, and only met Scott through him. He was a part of their crew of friends...Or family as Scott would put it. He is somewhat like a yes man for Michael. Michael says jump, and says how high? Bastion is a black sheep wanting to be a white sheep, afraid of being different from the others. Bastion may be a recurring role, depending on numerous factors on how this project plays out.

First line you should just blurt it out, as Scott enters a voice chat with him, and their little bud Jake.

The second line sound as if you're talking to a couple of friends, trying to figure out where your bestfriend might be.

The final line, you should sound a little scared, you blame others for the disappearance of your bestfriend, but deep inside you believe that it was you, that drove him away.

  • “Michael is missing!”

  • “That’s what we thought in the beginning as well. But then we remembered that, what had happened between you guys hit him hard.”

  •                                                  “You hurt me! You hurt Michael!”

    “You hurt Kenzie...”

Jake is the youngest person in the crew of Scott, and Michael, and the others. He met Scott through Michael likes everyone else, but Jake took a liking to him. Saw him as an older brother in a way, because he knew that Scott wanted the best for everyone and was willing to stand up for what's right. At least, that's what Jake thinks of him. He isn't a very innocent kid except when it comes to real life problems and struggles, he too wants the best for everyone but isn't willing to act on it. Another reason on why he looks up to Scott.
Jake has a small part here and there, this role will be reoccurring.

The first line you should have a light tone of panic.

The second and final line, just have a sad tone of voice.

This role can be played by male or female.

  • “He hasn’t been on for a few days, and we’ve called him a shit ton of times and even Kenzie tried too. He’s g-gone...”

  • “Shit...Sorry man. It’s just been stressful on us.”

  • “Thanks, for...for everything. I feel bad...”

Kenzie's Father is much more reasonable and rational other than his offspring. He's been through his fair share of a crappy life, but he gets through it, knowing that his family depends upon him. He will have a few future appearances though nothing too big.

Mary Judah is the wife of detective Judah. Not much is known about this woman other than she's married to the Hero of the police department, even though unknown to others outside, but in the family she and her children are abused by such man. I need at least a couple of talented animators that have done animations like this one (2) "TAG DER TOTEN" EASTER EGG ENDING CUTSCENE (Black Ops 4 Zombies DLC 4 Ending) - YouTube  If you have done something like a cartoon\comic kind of animation, do please submit a link to where I could find it in your audition, but if you've done other animations and think you can handle this task, submit a link to where I may be able to find them. This is a low budget project, so don't expect the highest pay because I simply cannot afford it. Though you will be paid the most out of everyone, into the triple digits at least. When auditioning keep in mind that this project will take a good while to complete, so I'd prefer you have a more open schedule when it comes to animating. That this will be going for quality over quantity, I'm hoping to have this episode done for 2022, we'll just have to see on how progress goes for that. I need somebody that's creative and isn't vanilla or mundane, or generic when it comes to ideas, and story making. Someone that strives to make good original stories that people can enjoy. It can either be dark and gritty, or light hearted and comedic. This writer role isn't necessarily just for this project. If you prove that you can go over any subject, I may take you along with me on certain other things\projects I have planned. 

Requirements :

- Must at least be 18 or older

- Highly recommended not to audition if you're considered to be PC because we may go over touchy subjects in storylines, so this role is not for the faint of heart, nor sensitive people, sorry.

- Open to nerd out over and debate, and discuss storylines and topics\ideas that interest us.

- Must have a discord in order for us to get into contact with one another.

- Must have a PayPal in order to get paid for your work.

The pay isn't actually 500 dollars per project. Depending on how much you work, or provide is how you'll be getting paid. So let's say if you had an idea for a series and that was it. You'd get a small percentage of the profits for the a limited time. If you were to co-write an episode for one of my series, you'll get paid a dollar amount for how much detail is in the pages, and the number of how many pages you've written, or if you created a storyline, and actively continued to pitch in ideas and write for it, you'd get a larger percentage of the cut. Overall I pay for your work, creativity, and loyalty.

Now for the part on how you audition for this role. You may leave a link to a script you may have written or co-write yourself in the past, or something that generally shows what you can do with story making. (Preferably a script, but any story will do.) Leave your discord username along with it, and if it gets my interest and I can see potential in you, and your creativity, I'll contact you and we'll go from there.
