Project Overview
REQUIREMENTS -
- Please be available and have Discord. This is our main source of communication. Please provide your discord username with your audition!
- All characters are 15 and above, but you don't need to be the age; just to sound the part. Though, we are not looking for *young* children.
- This visual novel has a lot of canonically LGBTQ+ and diverse characters. If this isn't your liking. then we advise you to not audition.
- Most, if not all characters will have to record lines with screaming and cursing. The ones listed to include these in the auditions are the characters currently *confirmed* to have such lines.
- Do note that anyone is free to try out for the characters, but the accents listed is supposed to help you understand where they're from and we are open for almost any kind of voices.
- We are unable to pay for roles, and this is a project JUST FOR FUN.
- This is a LONG TERM PROJECT, with many episodes planned that may take weeks or months to edit and publish.

VISUAL NOVEL
Something that started as an experiment, turned into a sick, cruel game of breaking participants to insanity.
After finding out of the existence of other universes, what this ministry called "Star Constellations," Ministry supervisor Kalin Moran decided to create an artificial universe, mess up the world just for a second of entertainment.
The ministry was stationed in the constellation of Lyra Maia; a world that seems to bend the laws of nature, and one that used to be ruled by 12 saints in ancient times.
The constellation of Subra Rana was the most normal, if you ignored the interesting mental conditions and disorders, as well as the rare physically flawed body parts of humans.
The constellation of Erinyes Pri was a wasteland, zombies dead from starvation, and almost no known survivors seen as the cities were left to rot and be lost to apocalypse.
For someones sick desires, a mentally and physically scarring universe was created, to see participants suffer at the hands of a girl's own palm.

Cael identifies as Non-binary, and uses They/them pronouns.
A character originally from the Lyra Maia constellation, Cael works as a Researcher for the Ministry of Stored Memories, an organization that is stationed in the star constellation. They are in charge of keeping and maintaining capsules of everybody’s memories, and are calm and collected, and it is hard to break their monotone exterior.
They should have a gender neutral and or androgynous voice, something that leaves you second guessing. Their pitch should be neutral, or, more medium pitched.

[Unfazed, in a nonchalant tone] “Nope, sorry. Knowing you, you’ll go on a rampage. After all, he’s dead, right? You want revenge, and I can’t let you do that.”

A character originally from the Lyra Maia constellation, Evelyn was a college student, and an aspiring harpist. She was a descendant of one of the twelve “saints,” in the star. Evelyn has characteristics of an Oceanid Nymph and is able to manipulate water at will. She is quiet and reserved, and prefers to not draw attention to herself.
I see anything fitting her, but it’s good to know she did live in North America, and is a young adult.

Luka is canonically transgender and uses he/him pronouns.
Luka was a reckless guy at a young age, taking risks left and right and proved to be a danger to himself at times. He was born and raised in the constellation Lyra Maia, yet, after he fell victim in a plane crash, he was the only passenger who was declared missing, not dead or alive.
Luka is canonically a young adult, but I am flexible with his voice. I do believe a medium pitch would be best though.

Idalia is canonically transgender and uses she/her pronouns, and is a character that may be asked to record excessive swearing.
A character originally from the Subra Rana constellation, Idalia was a school girl at Faraday Academy in Kyoto, Japan, being friends with Koji Akagi and Nievan Masaki. After being dragged into an empty classroom by her former childhood friend and almost killed, the traces of them both were left a mystery.
Idalia is a teenager, and shouldn’t have a voice that sounds extremely old, but not extremely young. I would also like for her voice to be a bit more androgynous, or medium pitched.

Nievan is a character that has lines that may be uncomfortable to record for certain people. (E.X: Obsessive behavior.) He is a character that typically throws out curse words in many of his lines, and some might find his character to be intolerable.
A character originally from the Subra Rana constellation, Nievan was a schoolboy at Faraday Academy in Kyoto, Japan, who became friends with Koji Akagi as well as his childhood friend Idalia Sugai. After a freak incident that left Nievan scarred with the image of his former friend's dead body, he knew he had to get revenge. Yet, after he was about to deliver the final blow, it felt like their existence was erased.
I’m not going to be very picky for Nievan, but he is a very unlikable character and should be portrayed as such; I do believe a more serious tone and lower pitch would work.

A character originally from the Erinyes Pri constellation, Moirae was a part of a surviving group after a zombie apocalypse broke out, making her rely on her older peers for her safety. She always tried to cheer up the group, and was usually seen as the morale booster, therapist or emotional caretaker when she wasn't fighting. After 6 years and a near death experience, where did she go?
Moirae is very much compared too as a happy-go-lucky child that lives in sunshine and bliss, and refuses to see the dark side in anything. Her pitch is most likely more of a higher one.

Mars is canonically transgender, and uses She/they pronouns.
A character originally from the Erinyes Pri constellation, Mars was part of a surviving group after a zombie apocalypse in Seoul, Korea, eyes widened as she knew she had caused this whole apocalypse after a failed exorcism. After 6 years, it seemed everyone had forgotten just how the whole thing started, but still left a burden on her shoulders. But, just where was the 4 person group now?
Mars has matured, and should generally sound over 18. They’re also not a character I’m going to be super picky on.

GOOD TO KNOW! - This character plays a LEAD role. (This character is one of the main 9.) Corey is canonically Gender-fluid, and uses He/She/They pronouns, but prefers to present themself as masc.
A character originally from the Erinyes Pri constellation, Corey was the oldest of their group, putting it in their hands to protect the two other members and his sister from the outside world. After being attacked from behind while they were on the roof of the base and heard a pained “Sorry,” the world never saw them again.
Honestly, Corey is all around a more open character for anyone to try out. I’m happy to see what people would see fit for them!

A character originally from the Erinyes Pri constellation, Ji-min was not even 10 when the apocalypse happened, seeing his mother die in front of his eyes and then being taken away by two young teenagers, with them both saying words he couldn’t understand. 6 years later, he was 15 and getting better with his English. Yet, nothing could have prepared him for what hell he’d be put through once more.
Ji-min’s voice is generally softer, and his character is pretty shy, quiet and soft spoken. He does have broken English and stutters regularly, and has been doing his hardest to master the language.

GOOD TO KNOW! - This character plays an ANTAGONIST role, and will most likely have to record lines such as sadistic and maniacal behavior.
A character originally from the Lyra Maia constellation, she is a worker for the underground Ministry stationed in the constellation. She was a supervisor and main developer for an upcoming artificial universe, yet, those who knew of it only knew it as “upcoming,” or, the only people who knew of it were its next victims. Staring at the cameras placed around the whole universe, Kalin smiled at the participants' fear.
Kalin is a character that comes off as kind, but has some kind of malice underneath her tone that leaves you wondering if this person in front of you is who they’re set out to be. Though, I would like a medium or higher pitch for her, the middle ground being medium-high.

GOOD TO KNOW! - This character plays a SUPPORTING role.
A character originally from the Lyra Maia constellation, after being bedridden and taken care of in a hospital, Xian has begun documenting the acts of Kalin and all those who were trapped in this artificial universe. He is the voice of the narrator at different points in episodes, and tries to help the participants find the way out. Even though he was an accomplice in making this universe, he wants to put an end once and for all.
Xian does sound a bit sick after a freak showdown, but it’s mainly just tiredness laced in his tone. I am also fine with his voice being lower or higher. His voice is only heard through a computer screen, so I do not mind if you edit your voice, but I do believe I can do it myself if needed.
