Project Overview

Hello everyone!


Here is a project i plan to post on my youtube channel during december. It consists of doing covers of many christmas songs, with a small story revolving around them.


Synopsis: Serena is a young angel who decides to take a trip on earth during christmas time, to see what humans are up too. Jesse is a dreamy, but disillusioned young man who's not a big fan of christmas because of some bad past events. Meeting by one of the most embarassing possible way, they will slowly learn, or relearn, what christmas, and friendship, really mean.


Requirements

-This project necessitate to sing for almost all the characters. If you don't know how to sing, please do not audition.

-Submit your files in a wav file, with a aaabbbccc format, except for the songs (unless you think it's necessary)

-Please submit your discord tag or at least your email address

-I'll need people who know how to communicate and give their records quickly. The episodes are almost all written but 3 months can go very fast if we don't pay attention. So, massive communication with the team is required.

-Please, most of all, have fun. I know this can look like a quick and stressful project but if everyone stays nice and have fun, everything will be alright.


This project is mainly a fan project, but the motion "looking for a quote" is here for those who prefer to be paid. Whatever it is, that can always be discussed.

A small discord server will be created for the project.

  • Shortlisting

    Hello, thanks to everyone for auditioning, i've heard many interesting things (even i really wish ccc could allow the possibility to put multiple role tipes on one character). To be honest, the singing aspect is really important since the song are the central parts of the calendar. That's why i might contact one or two people for a different character from the one they auditioned at the begining. Also i'm not the extra best in discord servers so i want to be sure everything is good before sending an invite. Ima going through the shortlisting process this evening, but ima extend the deadline if i don't get the voices i need. In any case, stay tuned.

  • Project update

    Just wanted to give an update about how the project is going Episodes: 18/25 written Songs: 24/25 instrumentals I initialy wanted to finish all scripts for early september but i had some tiredness and i'm taking a lil break; the auditions actually help me much to figure out how i can write the scenes i have some writer block on (if it makes sense, when i say i'm tired xD). About the songs, i almost have them all except for one which is "what's this" from nightmare before christmas; i don't know why but i absolutely cannot find a good instrumental for it, but i'm keeping searching for it. And that's all for now. Thanks a lot for following this project and please share it where you can, it helps a lot.

Jesse is one of the main protagonists. He is a calm, easy going character but with some troubled passed events which made him a bit bitter and disillusioned. He's pretty intrigued by Serena and decides to make her discover christmas while trying to handle his own dark thoughts.

Daniel is one of Jesse's friends. He's the calmer of the gang and doesn't talk too much, only when necessary. He seems cold at first sight, but he is really caring of his friends.
