Project Overview
Sonic launch is a 2D animated action-comedy fan series that re-imagines the classic Sonic the Hedgehog universe. It's intended as an origin story and reboot, celebrating the extensive media history of the franchise, from video games to comics and movies.
The plot begins with a new hero running into the peaceful village of Green Hills. After single-handedly stopping a group of local threats from causing destruction, he is embraced by the villagers as their new protector. A few days of peace pass, but a new, more sinister menace emerges: the self-proclaimed Dr. Robotnik. His evil plan is to capture all the villagers of Green Hills and transform them into his robotic minions, who are programmed to lay waste to the village and, eventually, the entire planet.
Now, it's up to our hero, along with his newfound friends, Tails and Amy, to unite and put an end to Dr. Robotnik's schemes before it's too late. The series promises a blend of fast-paced action, humor, and a deep appreciation for the source material, offering both long-time fans and newcomers an exciting new take on the iconic blue blur's adventures. We are seeking talented voice actors to bring our characters to life. This project requires individuals who can embody a range of emotions and personalities, from heroic and determined to cunning and comedic. - Uncle Chuck is a brilliant, kind-hearted inventor and the man who stepped up to raise Sonic, becoming the closest thing the young hedgehog has ever had to a father. He may not know what happened to Sonic's parents, but that doesn't stop him from doing everything in his power to keep the boy safe. His love for Sonic is the driving force behind his incredible inventions. Driven by a sense of paternal duty and an engineer's mind, Uncle Chuck spends his days tinkering away in his workshop. He's not just building gadgets; he's building a safety net for Sonic. His most important creation is a watch designed to monitor Sonic's immense speed and power, preventing him from "overcharging" and risking his life. He also loves to build things just to see a smile on Sonic's face, like the custom shoes that help him harness his abilities. Despite his brilliance, Uncle Chuck is a humble man who values family above all else. He's a teacher, a protector, and a friend, always ready with a word of advice or a new invention to help Sonic on his journey. His sudden, mysterious disappearance while out searching for parts left a young Sonic alone, changing the course of both their lives and leaving a void that can never be filled.
