Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity (DUBBED) #2
Project Overview
WARNING! ROLES CONTAIN SIGNIFICANT SPOILERS FOR THE STORY OF THE GAME!
This is an English voice dub of the 3DS game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, a game that means the world to me. I've always wanted to have a full on dub for it, yet only until now have I gotten around to getting started on it. And it all starts with making sure the voices are just right for the characters.
That's why I'm calling all voice actors to help me out with this passion project, created from my love of the game I hold to my heart so dearly. Since this will be in parts, I'm not currently casting every single character at once, and I'm simply starting with what I need. Feel free to give me your best voice for each character!
If you don't make it in, don't fret! All auditions will be credited regardless of whether or not they make it in!

A minor character. As the one who runs the request counter in Paradise, she's cheerful and always happy to see people helping others!
She actually does have an official voice (see this video at 2:27) but if you have an original take, I'm all for it!

Step right up! Welcome to the Request Counter! What sort of request will you be helping out with today?
I see! I'll get everything ready for your departure!
The Request Gate has been opened! Do your best in there!
A major character. Emolga is somewhat vain, but overall goodhearted and cheerful. He's Dunsparce's best friend and often looks out for him. He gains a dislike of Virizion due to her rejection of Dunsparce.
(director's note: this is my favorite character so I'll be a bit picky as to who I choose for him. as for his voice i'd like if it went for a Yuri Lowenthal character type voice (like Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4 for instance), or maybe something like Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5.)

(Cautious) Who's that? Who's over there?! (Calmer) Dunsparce...? Nope, clearly not. They don't really look like enemy Pokémon either, but...
(Angrily) Virizion! That was so cold! What is wrong with you?! You could've just accepted his gift, you know! Argh!
That...that's not true! I mean, sure, you're a bit of a coward and so things don't always go so well... But your heart's in the right place, right? That's pretty hard to find these days.
A major character. Dunsparce is somewhat cowardly and not very strong, yet longs to be an adventurer, yet always manages to get himself into trouble and needs someone to bail him out. He also admires Virizion, and wants desperately to be her friend.

(Worried) Ohhh... What am I going to do... (Noticing something) Ah!
I really want to be the kind of Pokémon who does the rescuing, you know... But I'm not strong... And I get afraid... and then I always lose my nerve when the big moment arrives...
Emolga! Everybody! I'm going to fight! You don't need to protect me! I will fight and I won't be afraid! I promise!
A minor somewhat recurring character, and a resident of Post Town.

She looks perfect again today! That tall, graceful figure... That cool confidence... Aww, man... She's really the best...
Looking at the rainbows somehow gave everybody that hope... And so we all just somehow started calling them the Rainbows of Hope.
A major character. Virizion is famous for her strength and beauty. She hides her trauma behind an icy demeanor, opting not to have friends out of a belief that everyone who is nice is hiding ulterior motives. Despite this, she slowly opens up as the story progresses, and she slowly starts to believe in friendship again.

It's not like I don't have any goal... But you could basically say that I go wherever the whim takes me.
I'm sorry, but with the world we live in... I just don't believe in things like friends. If you were strong, I might be able to consider you as some kind of ally. If you were strong, then at least you could help me out in some way. But you...well, you aren't very strong, are you?
How could you feel any other way in this kind of world? You understand, don't you?
An incredibly minor character. He's a shopkeeper at Post Town with only like one cutscene line.

She's a sight for sore eyes!
You say you can actually GO to the Great Glacier?!
What great adventure might be waiting there? I get chills just thinking about it!

Och! Looks as though our fair lady's goin' tae the inn!
I dinnae ken meself...but it seems this stranger is aboot tae show us a real treat.
I'm embarrassed, and that's fair certain. The way I lost me head and ran...
"She is often referred to as the 'signora'. She seems to be the unofficial leader of Post Town. Everyone enjoys her cooking... ...Swanna is very patient, and forgiving. She is also very caring, which is displayed when she allows Umbreon and Espeon to stay at her inn. Swanna is the backbone of the Post Town." -Bulbapedia

My, my, what a pleasant surprise! Welcome, Virizion!
Hohoho... Well, Virizion is pretty set in her ways. But I had to try. Everyone wants to be Virizion's friend. Such a lovely girl...
Well, it's important to be told no sometimes, too. Keeps me humble. Life is long, and there's always plenty to learn.

We've got a real simple way to get stronger. By the way... You do have Poké, right?
There's a place not too far from here called Desolate Canyon. Training there'll make this a breeze. Let's roll.
Heheheh! So you figured it out. Clever little runt. But don't you think it's a bit too late for that?

Sweet. We're the Pawniard Brothers. Good to know you.
It's just like you said. There's no simple way to get strong! Kahahaha!
