Project Overview
Okay, you may be wondering, "What is Pokémon Adventures?"
Pokémon Adventures, also known as Pokémon Special or PokéSpe, is a manga series authored by Hidenori Kusaka. Unlike the anime—which, though drawing much inspiration from the games, does not follow them exactly—Pokémon Adventures is a mostly game-based manga, with the twenty-one main characters taking their names from the core series games and their various adventures tending to stay restricted to their home region. The Black and White chapter of the Pokéspe manga follows the adventures of Black, who is on a quest to become the Champion of the Pokémon League. He is joined by White, a young woman who owns the Pokémon acting company, the BW Agency, and aims to raise the best Pokémon actor. As they go through the Unova region they encounter the group Team Plasma, who aim to free Pokémon from Trainers, and the mysterious N.
Dubbing this Manga has been a dream of mine ever since I got back into the Fandom of PokéSpe. I first read it back when I was somewhere between 11 to 13, and I still love it. I recently reread it and it was just as good as I remembered. If you want to help make my dream come true, please audition! But before that, you should know a couple of things.
First of all, there are a handful of requirements!
-Please have decent microphone quality!
-Please have Discord, so we can discuss everything!
-You have to be at least 14.
-This should go without saying, but if you get cast, you need to be able to work with deadlines! This is very important!
-Knowledge of the Pokémon Adventures Manga isn't necessary but certainly appreciated... it's also a really good manga series, so you most definitely won't regret reading it!

Elesa is the Nimbasa City Gym Leader and specializes in Electric-type Pokémon. In the manga, she plays an important role, as do all the other gym leaders.
I imagine her to sound kind of bored most of the time. She should either have an eerily-high voice or a strict, low voice.
Are you White's employee? You called her "boss" just now. I was at a meeting with the mayor of Nimbasa City and her. In the beginning, we didn't have any idea on what kind of new attraction Nimbasa City needed... But even after she helped us figure out that we need a musical, she took over the responsibility of pretty much everything else.

(Teasing, laughing) How do I know your name..? Why, White told me all about you, of course! When your Munna bites your head, you make deductions like a sleuth. Yep, she told me about that too. We were having some girl talk and she told me everything about you. She's right. You are pretty cute.
Marshal is a part of Unova's Elite Four. He specializes in using fighting-type Pokémon.
Marshal is very goal-orientated. He wants to surpass his master, Alder, and become strong along with his Pokémon.
His voice should be low, rumbly and gravelly. Like a seasoned fighter.
Don't worry. I didn't attack them very hard. I only wished to teach you a lesson. Your manners are appalling. I cannot abide discourteousness.
Acid Spray. It's an attack in which a Pokémon spits out fluid to melt its opponent. Normally you spray it all over your opponent to do the most damage... But my master had his Accelgor spit only a tiny drop on my Mienshao. If he had ordered Accelgor to spit Acid Spray all over Mienshao, Mienshao would have fainted. In other words, the battle was over the moment that single drop found its target.
Hm? That girl behind you... that's the girl from yesterday, isn't it? I'm glad to see you've regained consciousness.
Grimsley is a part of the Elite Four of Unova. He's a dark-type trainer and incredibly powerful. He has a gambling addiction that has developed due to the fact that his family was once a distinguished family that fell into ruin.
I imagine his voice to be smooth, mysterious and ominous. I can see both a high and a low voice working, so I'd say just give it your best shot!
I love playing games. Games are nothing but competitions, and competitions are fun, right? And... If you start seeing everything as a game... Then it might even help you in Pokémon battles! Ohh... did that pique your curiosity?
You sure are full of questions. I'm okay with telling you, but... Hmmm... Let's make this a game too. If you beat me in a Pokémon battle... I'll tell you. ...Hm? Those badges... So he's a trainer who's collecting badges to qualify for the Pokémon league, huh? He was so conflicted about whether or not he should take the gamble that his brain short-circuited... Haha!
Alder is currently the champion of Unova. In the past, Alder's starter Pokémon died of illness, and in despair over not being able to save it, he began traveling around aimlessly. Before his partner's death, the two of them madly pursued strength... But the Pokémon's death changed Alder's outlook on life.
His voice should convey his views on life; he should sound like he doesn't worry about the future, but mainly cares about enjoying the present. I imagine him having a low voice.
(Whining, annoyed) What's taking the mayor of Nimbasa so long...? We're supposed to meet to discuss this battle subway arena. Not very considerate of him! I'm bored. I'm going for a walk outside.
(Jokingly, wrestling with a Bouffalant [basically wrestling with a bull]) Ready, steady... go!! Haha! Not yet!! Come on, push! Wh-whoaa!
Ahahaha! Alright, you win! I'm getting too old for this!

Chris is a baker. She lives and works in her traveling bakery, originally coming from the Village Bridge. She's a supporting side character and helps White catch her first Pokémon.
I imagine her voice to be fairly low and possibly a bit nasal.
Here you go... With all that screaming, you must've worked up an appetite. They're freshly baked. Would you like to try one?

Are you sure that would be for the best...? I hear all sorts of interesting things talking to customers on my travels to various cities. For example... I heard what Marshal is doing in town. Who he met with. And where he went yesterday.
A female Team Plasma grunt. Team Plasma's goal is to "liberate" all Pokémon from their trainers by either convincing them to release them or by defeating them in a pokémon battle and then stealing them.
I imagine her voice to be fairly low and feminine.
You discovered us. Impressive. You're really something! I've heard all about you. You made Bronius of the Seven Sages very angry, didn't you?
I used Gothitelle's Hypnosis to drive people away from this island. I can't believe the havoc you've wreaked in our plans already!! And I'll be held responsible for any failure here, you know?!

Victini is first seen in Liberty Garden, where Team Plasma tries to liberate it. It only has one appearance in the manga, but it's an important one.
Since Victini is a Pokémon, you can either make squeaky noises or make it say its name. Make sure to portray the proper emotions, though! I imagine its voice to be very high-pitched.
(Hurt, weakened) Vi... Victini...
(Energetic, determined) Victini!!
(Curious) Viii?
N's Servine. She switches sides after a certain incident and becomes White's Pokémon instead.
Her voice should sound smug, sure of herself.
(Smug, looking down on Black) Serv.
(Attacking, tackling her opponent) Vine!
(Determined, ready to battle) Servine!
