PMD: Eternal Skies (Animation)
Project Overview
Summary
Eternal Skies is the first ever 3D animated series in the PMD Community and will be based off of Explorers of Sky. There will be 20 episodes (1 for each chapter) around 5-10 minutes of each episode. I've wanted to make this for a very long time and now I am finally going through with it. My goal is to make this one of the greatest PMD projects ever like Arceus' Wish. Cause yknow we got rom hacks and web comics but no animated series so hopefully this project will kick start a new era for the PMD community. To put it lightly we will simply save PMD so ya i'm looking forward to working with yall!
Requirements/RecommendationsI am mostly looking for people who match how i imagine the voice of the character! that is my top priority. but good acting skills and a good mic may give you an edge when it comes down to a close decision.

All character casting calls are listed so you may audition for all and any you wish. All of these are generally long term commitments. As you'd expected, only 1 person can get cast per character so if you don't receive a response from me, it probably means you don't fit my vision of how the character sounds. but if i believe you would fit well in another role, I will let you know. No castings are set in stone until I have started producing the episode in which they make their debut. I will however message you in advance if I like your audition. Roles are placed in order of priority in which i need to cast.
This is completely a fan project, so payment would not be possible on an impactful scale, but CERTAIN VOICE ACTOR'S depending on the character can ask to have their Patreon, Kofi, or other support page linked in the Description. Only applies to the core characters of each episode.
Please also include GRUNTS and GROANS for each character you audition for. (like attacking and getting hit)

Koffing (Male Teen/Adult. Pronunciations are slightly more deep/low)
Summary: Koffing is a member of Team Skull, a rival bully team targeting the heroes, working behind the scenes to make them fail
Role: Minor Antagonist
Traits: Careless, Carefree, "Jolly", literal bully. Big talk but not as tough as he portrays himself as.

Zubat (Male Teen/Adult. Pronunciations are slightly more sharp/high)
Summary: Zubat is a member of Team Skull, a rival bully team targeting the heroes, working behind the scenes to make them fail
Role: Minor Antagonist
Traits: Careless, tricky, mischievous, literal bully. Big talk but not as tough as he portrays himself as. Cocky

Rowlet (Pref. Male but Female OK. Teen/Young Adult)
Role: Protagonist
Summary: Rowlet is the partner pokemon. Aspiring Explorer who loves to discover lost artifacts and lands. He’s a coward but grows more into a competent explorer throughout the story. He lives and acts in the moment.
Traits: cowardly but determined, naive, hopeful, energetic and outgoing. Becomes brave later on.

But i've missed this fantastic sight. I wonder when it was when i last saw this... The last time was... oh! the last time was when i met (hero) I noticed someone right here. (Hero) was unconcious. That was when (hero) and i... that was when our adventure began...
Sunrise! It's pretty isn't it. Maybe it's because we were in the future for so long. But i never realized the sunrise could be so renewing. The sun rises, then it sets. we take that for granted, and that's only natural. But the things we take for granted are really the most essential. and they are precious.
(Sad and tearing up) All those memories of my time with (Hero) Memories... of (Hero).... but now... (hero) is gone... and (hero) isn't here anymore............ B-Bidoof! Bidoof.... Waaah!!!
Riolu (Male. Teen/Young Adult)
Role: Protagonist
Summary: the player character of the story. Hes part of the guild but his true intentions is to discover what the heck happened to him. Always looking toward the future.

(Sad but at peace) This! This Light! Alright. finally. the time has finally arrived. My time with Rowlet ends now...Sorry Rowlet. I kept this to myself for a long time. It looks like.... i have to say goodbye. Dusknoir told me... if we changed the future the pokemon from the future would disappear. That's why... i am destined to disappear too. Thank you for everything. i am going to disappear from here now. But Rowlet, i will never forget you.
(Shocked) I was a human from the future?! And i was Grovyle's Partner on a mission to prevent the planet's paralysis?! And that's how i ended up in Rowlet's world?!
(Confused) What's this weird sensation? I don't know why i'm feeling this way. I- Wait a second! I know this place! Have i been here before. Maybe... does it have something to do with me? Before i lost my memory?
Diglett (Make Kid/Teen)
Role: Side Character
Summary: The Wigglytuff Guild's lookout and Loudred's partner. Not nearly as brash or self-assured as his father or his partner.
Traits: childish, naive, inexperienced, innocent, joyful

Loudred (Male Young Adult/Adult) Pronunciations are LOUUUUDDD and OBNOXIOUS
Role: Side Character
Summary: A loud and short-tempered apprentice who tends to shout all the time, and serves as the guild's morning alarm clock. Because of this, he comes off as a bit... harsh. Also a bit of a braggart, he's convinced that he's the strongest of all the apprentices.
Traits: short tempered, obnoxious, big ego, very experienced

Summary: Relentlessly cheerful and upbeat, he hardly seems to fit his fearsome reputation... yet almost everyone deeply respects him.
Traits: Cheerful, upbeat, acts clueless but is secretly very intelligent. Wants to be everyones friend
Hiya! You brought me some perfect apples, didn't you? Thank you! Huh, what's wrong. It's ok, i understand! It's all right! nobody wins all the time. Don't feel blue, don't feel blue!... Where are the other perfect apples? oh... (sniffle sob) urrrr- urrrrrffff waaaah!!!
Well, Hiya! looks like we all agree! We all believe our friends that's great! Then let's begin searching for the hidden land! Hm? What's wrong? Oh, is that all? You don't need to worry about Chatot. Chatot is convinced right? Because Chatot believed Rowlet's Story all along!
Now listen everyone! Time is stopping in more and more places! From Rowlet's story, We know our world is in danger. That means we have to do something. This is our time. in the name of Wigglytff's Guild, We'll combine out efforts. We'll find the Hidden Land together! YOOM-TAH!
Chatot (Male Young Adult/Adult) pronunciations are sharp and slightly exaggerated. He has a raspiness in his speech as if he were holding his nose while talking (optional you could try holding your nose while doing a take but I dunno if it'll make much of a difference)
Role: Supporting Character
Summary: Wigglytuff's right hand bird and head of intelligence, Chatot handles most of the day-to-day details of running the guild. Unfortunately, he has a tendency to grossly overestimate his own talents and occasionally misread the situation, and isn't as well-respected as he thinks he is. That being said, he can still be counted on when push comes to shove.
Traits: Biggest Ego, cocky, “🤓” doesnt like to show it, but deep down he cares about the guild apprentices

I wish you had told me upfront that you wanted to be an exploration team. Hee-heee! Ok! let's get your team signed up right away! Follow me!
(In pain) Urrghh- I Won't let you get away with this... Urgh- say what you will... they're... our prized recruits. I won't let you harm them! urgh- (faints)
Sunflora (Female Teen/Young Adult)
Role: Supporting Character
Summary: A playful and skilled apprentice who's always so excited she can't help screaming with anticipation! Gets along well with everyone... well, except for Loudred, anyway…
Traits: Cheerful, Joyful, yea.. Basically what’s in summary

Bidoof (Male Teen/Young Adult)
Role: Supporting Character
Summary: A cheerful beaver Pokémon who's eager to please others. Before the newcomers arrived, he was the Guild's most recent recruit, and was having trouble adjusting. Things get better for him after your arrival, and he quickly befriends the team. While he can be a bit slow at times, he tries his hardest and dislikes the thought of giving up.
Traits: Naive, cowardly but is determined to do his best. Innocent. Slips up time to time. Values his fellow guild members alot.

Summary: She helps the guild members with team building and is also the guild's chef.
Traits: Cheerful, Resourceful, always willing to help out.

Role: Supporting Character
Summary: Another apprentice, Corphish is one of the more sensible members of the guild.
Traits: Little more serious than the other members but not as much as Loudred. A great Explorer. "feisty"

Role: Protagonist
Summary: A Pokémon who is trying to steal the Time Gears. Supposedly, he's the culprit behind the world's eventual paralysis. In reality, he needs the time gears to prevent the paralysis and save the world along with his partner (Hero). His purpose is fighting for a new life.
Traits: A loner but cares for others. Wise, resourceful, determined, quick thinker. will fight for what he believes in even if it costs the ultimate price. YOU ONLY HAVE TO SAY 1 OF THESE LINES

Summary: Skuntank is the boss of Team Skull, a rival bully team targeting the heroes, working behind the scenes to make them fail. He's very powerful
Role: Minor Antagonist
Traits: Careless, Mischievous, literal bully. the "mastermind".

Dusknoir (Male Adult)
Role: Villain
Summary: A very wise explorer who rose to stardom overnight. Despite this, he's very humble and willing to help even the smallest Pokémon. In reality, he is Primal Dialga's right-hand man from the future and seeks to cement the world's stasis. Dusknoir is incredibly resourceful and intelligent and not afraid to do what must be done to sustain his own self preservation. His greatest fear is death.
Traits: Mastermind, intelligent, resourceful, powerful, bold, hasty.

Summary: The Sableye are Dusknoir's henchmen.
