Project Overview

I've been a fan of Persona, and was introduced to the series by Persona 4, owning almost every game after.

Being in several Persona projects has led me to wanting to create my own!


This will be a fandub of the game Persona 4 and the anime too!


Please be warned!

Even though all characters are up for auditions, I will be selfcasting for one role!

There is also no limit to how many characters you can be cast for, audition for as many as you will be able to play.


Please also have decent microphone quality! I know mines is not the best, but I don't want too much echos and very little background noise!

  • The Cast and a wee problem

    But I have a little...umm...problem...I have a broken arm which I broken in gymnastics in gym class. So this project will start a little bit slower as I'm only one handed for now.  I've no longer got the slingy-thing on, but I'm right handed and it's my right hand that's broken....

    My brother is going to be getting most of the stuff ready, lines etc. But nothing will be made until I am healed.

  • Persona 4 - The Animation

    We'll be doing the short aninmated series, well some of it XD , alongside the game ^^


    Next update will be on the day of casting :p

    I might close the deadline early so just be aware of that, so if you want to audition again, resubmit etc, please do it quickly :)

  • Update #1 - My minds made up!?

     Hi everyone!


    Soooooooo there hasn't been toooooooo much auditions (especially for those female roles) buuuuut out of all the auditions I've heard...all I'll say is your making my final decision a tough one!



    Now auditions are being held on Behind the Voice Actors and currently there's nothing really happening there so the majority of the casting will take place on this site...weeeeeeeeell, unless some other VA's blow the water with everyone else. But yeah I've kind of made my decision up already!


    Also I've decided who I'm playing too, my other older brother is also going to be in this dub returning to his role from another Persona project, so two roles are already cast...but which ones??? I'll leave you to guess/research (soooo blunt!)


    I'd just like to remind everyone that there is no limit to the amount of roles you can be cast for, which explains why my cast list I've got jotted down is very short...I may end up creating several other casting calls on BTVA to get a more varied cast, but that'll be in the last week.


    FINALLY! I'm going to put a little 'sizzle' into how I cast. But I'll say no more on that.

Chie is a spunky and tomboyish. 

Terrified of ghosts and such, she's very energetic too. Lot's of energy and emotion is key for her lines!


She was voiced by Tracey Rooney in Persona 4 and Erin Fitzgerald ever since. Two completely diiferent takes on her, I'm not bothered as to who's Chie you go for, what can you come up with?

  • Nice to meetcha new guy! My name is Chie, Chie Satonaka. Ignore the teacher, he's a real pain in the butt.

  • I swear, I'll get those guys for that! Who do they think they're messing with?

  • AHHHHH! D-don't talk like that! You know I h-hate g-g-ghost stories!

Teddie is originally from the TV world and is brought up by Yu and his friends.

Despite looking like a bear costume he is able to grow his own human body.


Teddie was voiced by Dave Wittenberg, but if I'm honest, I really prefer Sam Riegel's voice for him!

  • I am the mascot of the Junes department store! A big hit with the kids and espcially the ladies, hehehehe!

Yu/Souji, is the main character and the mostly silent protagonist.

Yu will be narrating the series so he will have a lot of lines.


He is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, however, as he is the player I am open to your own interpretaion of how he should sound!

Make sure to have as little emotion as possible and remain very serious!

  • It's my turn! Here I go...Persona!

  • My friends faced their own Shadows and came out stronger for it, but I never met mine. To make up for it, though, I've had my friends to help me mature. It's my companions that I draw strength from in all of this.

  • People can do it. As long as they can open their eyes and look around, they'll see it. They'll see the truth!

Kanji Tatsumi

Despite his scary looks, Kanji loves all things cute and girly.

His Shadow form takes on a much different apperance.


Kanji has been oiced by Troy Baker and Matthew Mercer, both making him sound pretty much the same so either one works fine :)

  • (flamboyant as Shadow Kanji) Ooooooh, why hello there! Oh don't you boys look beau-ti-ful! Come on, let's go and have a smokin' hot time, heehee!
