Persecutors of Life (FT. Hazbin Hotel)

Project Overview

PERSECUTORS OF LIFE (Those who persecute who dare live) is an animation project created by me. The project is going to mainly be a fight scene between The Rabbit, a character of my own making, versus the likes of The Radio Demon, Alastor. The animation will mainly be done in a 2d program called Macromedia Flash 8, and it's going to be heavily animated with a stickfigure style rather than full detail.

There really isn't a story when it comes to the animation, it's mostly an excuse to have one character fight another and make it look very cool and pleasing to the eyes.

I have around 1440 frames done with the rough-visual sketch, while the full animatic itself is going to be 4000 frames in total. There will barely be any actual voice lines in the project, and the majority of the line are going to be either attack grunts, pain moans, and or insane, cacophonic laughter (since the main two characters are utterly insane).

Also, yes. This project will be unpaid due to the fact that I'm broke as hell, and this is just a passion project.

Latest Updates

  • LOG #2:

No real updates as of late, working on other projects at the moment. There's a lot of good submissions that were sent here, and I'm way too indecisive, I didn't expect anybody to take this seriously, but it has been fun working on what little I have done. This project will be continued shortly though, so stay tuned. In the meantime, stop by to see what other projects I'm prioritizing first while I work on finishing the P.O.L storyboard.

  • LOG #1:

The expectations of this project were always a bit weird. The overall time that I've had with developing the rough visualization of this animation has been little, due to the fact that I didn't expect anyone to be interested in this (kind of cringe) topic idea, of a popular indie animation character VS a random OC someone came up with, but seeing as there are many people interested in being a part of it, then I'll definitely be continuing this.

Technical update: I've done an official thumbnail for the page, since having a default thumbnail with a random screenshot from the animation was kinda stupid.

At the moment, I'm finishing up another animation project I had pending, but seeing as there were people interested, I won't be delaying this project just as long. So please keep in touch with my animation channel for any behind the scenes and or sketches that you mind find for this little fever project of mine.

The Rabbit (Subject #000)

This role is mainly a one-shot role for a character titled "The Rabbit" or "Subject #000". This character is a green-skinned lagomorph-humanoid hybrid that possesses pie-like eyes from 1930's cartoons. He has a neutral-pitch voice that shifts ever so slight from high to low depending on the situation.

This role is a co-lead with the secondary character that's featured in this animation.

The Rabbit is an enigmatic figure that possesses no real motives aside from one thing, to do whatever is interesting to him at that moment in time, and due to that reason, he is a carefree but also careless individual that rarely cares for the safety and or well being of others. He is an excitable sort that finds interest in everything around him, and due to that, he may appear to have a cartoonish and or wonderous tone most of the time. This character does not get angry, and even in grave situations, he still sounds like a cartoon character no matter the circumstance. He has a slight Boston accent, but it's rarely noticeable.

His voice pitches like TV static when alerted and or provoked.  Imagine a more mellowed out Bugs Bunny with less of an accent.

Radio Demon, Alastor

This is information is cited directly from the Hazbin Hotel Wiki (because I'm not about to write information for a character that has existed for over  six years)

He is the wickedly charismatic demon who has offered to assist Charlie Morningstar in her endeavors, albeit, for his own amusement. Alastor stands out from many of the more chaotic residents of hell for his well maintained amiable persona. He gives a first-impression of a good-natured and charming man, wearing a permanently wide grin on his face at all times. His behavior, mannerisms, and even his voice are similar to an old-fashioned radio announcer and speaks with a transatlantic accent
