Project Overview
This project is a fan dub of the latest game in the Paper Mario series, The Origami King. Mario and his brother Luigi visit Toad Town for the Origami Festival, only to discover that the place has been taken over by the malevolent Origami King, who wishes to crease the entire paper world!
This call is for the prologue portion of the game.

An origami princess and Mario’s companion for this adventure. She is excitable and a bit naive, but serious when it comes to stopping her brother’s plans. She Should sound perky and upbeat most of the time, but can still handle dramatic moments.
Wow! I’m free from that weird in-between dimension!…Oh, was I just stuck in that wall?
Ok, I’m getting my bearings…I think we might be in the castle dungeon. Dungeons smell like…this place smells, right?
Brother! No…it can’t be. I didn’t want to believe it could be you. How many times did I tell you to stop? You have to stop now!
Mario’s brother and renowned player 2, Luigi. He often messes things up, but is still helpful in his own way. He should sound similar to how he does in the games.
Isn’t this great, Bro? Back on the road again together and heading to some kind of festival!
I’m gonna park the kart, ok? I don’t wanna tip the valet.
Don’t worry, Mario. I know just what to do in situations like this. You just gotta find Mario! Right, Mario?…oh.
Mario’s long time enemy and princess kidnapper, the great king Bowser. His minions were captured, he was folded till only his face remained, and he has to team up with Mario to put things right. Not the king’s proudest moment. He should sound similar to how he does in the games.
I can see what you’re about to do to my minion, and I order you to CUT IT OUT!
Mario! You’re here too? Well? What are you waiting for? Get me down from this thing!
I’ve got a body too! Those folded jerks just…bent it in ways that I won’t describe in detail right now.
An unfortunate, naive Goomba who is captured and folded by the Origami King. He should sound young and enthusiastic, but once he is folded, he should sound creepy and monotone, like he was brainwashed.
Whoa, Mario! You’re here?! I’m a big fan-er, I mean…I’ve always wanted to battle you. Even if I get stomped, it would be an honor.
Aww, hope you don’t have to wait too long, Mario. I’ll say hi to Toad for ya!
(Folded) …I never…got…to see…Toad…Prepare to be folded!

(Koopa Troopa) Are you here for the Origami Festival too? This dungeon-themed waiting lounge is a HUGE upgrade from the last festival I attended. Very classy.
(Hammer Bro) You ain’t seen Master Bowser anywhere, have ya? It ain’t like the big lug to leave us minions hangin’ at a public event.

The benevolent ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach. She invites Mario and Luigi to the Origami Festival, but is unfortunately Folded by the Origami King. She should sound pleasant and kind normally, but creepy and monotone when folded.
(Normal) You are invited to an Origami Festival in fabulous Toad Town!
(Folded) How good to see you…Answer me this…Shouldn’t the Mushroom Kingdom…unfold? And be refolded unto glory?
(Folded) Why are you still so…flat? Why haven’t you joined me in folded glory…Come…we can reshape you…
