Project Overview

This is a casting call for an audio novelization of Paper Mario 64.

This project is long term, but fairly casual. We would like you to have a discord account for cast communication if possible!

Script writing is well under way already, and we hope to publish at least once a month(the episodes are not exactly short, and there are only two directors, myself and my friend.) but our deadlines will be semi-flexible, as this is a fan project that will likely be done in everyone's spare time.

Goombario and Bow, as well as Luigi and Bowser, are already cast, and we will be doing casting in segments. This first casting is for everyone who appears in the first episode!

While professional grade hardware is not required for this, we request that you provide the best sound quality you are able.

We plan to post on youtube to allow for some visual content to be paired with the audio(illustrations, in other words)

Once again! Keep in mind this is a for fun fan project. You don't need all the time in the world, but just an open enough schedule to adhere to a (somewhat) loose deadline. Secondly, a fair quality mic. Lasty, a discord account for group communications. That's about it! We will keep updated as well as possible, Thanks for taking a look, and even more thanks if you audition!

  • Update on Project Status

    Hey, all. The project is still ago! I'm sorry things are taking so long and appreciated the interest still in it. I have had family issues, computer issues, health issues and now family events are coming up. I just couldn't keep up with this for a very long time. Once my computer issues are fixed I should be able to get the script recovered, looked over and continued. I appreciate again all your patience and will start some minor casting as soon as I'm able.

  • Deadline's been pushed back

    More auditions are needed to cast properly and life has been a bit hectic. We'll be pushing back the deadline!
