*PAID* My Hero Academia Inspired Minecraft Roleplay Series

Project Overview

Yo! I've been doing YouTube for almost 5 years now, and have accumulated 300,000+ subscribers and almost 90 million views on my channel, PixelDip (https://www.youtube.com/user/PixelDip). 

I've recently made the decision not to pursue YouTube full-time, but before moving on from my channel, I would like to create my best content yet.

I've been working on a My Hero Academia inspired minecraft roleplay for over a year now, and have worked with a character designer to bring to life a world completely separate from the main series, with fully developed characters and settings. 

I'm looking to fill 17 roles for the series. and voice actors will be paid per episode of the series, based on how many lines they need to read. (The roles all say 25, but the price would change per episode)

Please be at least 16 years old, and have a good quality microphone setup to apply!

In your audition notes, include your discord username so I can reach out to you easily, and if you are the same ethnicity as the character I'm casting. You can apply for characters that aren't the same ethnicity as you, but I would like to be as inclusive as possible!

You can apply for multiple roles, but don't apply for the same role twice!

  • Thank you to everyone who auditioned for the My Hero Academia project!

    Before uploading this project to castingcall, I would have never expected the project to gain this much traction - there were 400+ auditions, and every single one of them was awesome! Unfortunately, I only had 17 roles to fill, so that means that the majority of candidates weren't able to get a role... however, I'll definitely be using castingcall more often in the future, so look out for future projects! I've cast every character apart from Nua, who I'm still unsure about, and have reached out to all those who were casted. Huge thank you to everyone who auditioned, I wish you all the best of luck with your future endeavors!

He is the strongest physically in the class, and has a twin sister in the same class. However, he is not a "jock"-like personality, and is very kind, caring, and especially overprotective of his sister.

Miru has perhaps the most powerful quirk in his class, he can stop time whenever he closes his eyes. However, this quirk has significant drawbacks on Miru's physical and mental health, as it has prevented him from being able to properly sleep. He is chronically tired, and worries many of his classmates.

Ketto is the class' teacher, but is still a young and inexperienced hero. Her quirk causes her to manifest thought, speech and exclamation bubbles (as in from comic panels) based on what she is thinking, which makes it impossible for her to be dishonest. These bubbles manifest as physical objects and can be launched as weapons. She is highly outgoing and loves her students, although sometimes has trouble keeping order in the class.

  • (Embarrassed) Ehehe... you ermm... weren't supposed to see that thought of mine...

(Ozoa doesn't have an Indian accent since she was born in San Francisco)

Sei is Kebu's twin brother, and is a member of his class. Sei has power over cerebral chemistry, she can “absorb” the anxiety of others and then emit the negative energy as psychic energy bursts. She lies to her brother and peers by telling them that she can absorb their anxieties without any negative repercussions, but in reality, she becomes more anxious herself the more “anxiety” she absorbs

Hence, she is chronically anxious, but is in denial about her condition.

  • (Anxious) What if I... don't pass! What if I break down during the test! I.... I can't cope with this anymore!

  • (Nervously) My... my quirk involves absorbing the anxiety of others... so if you're ever feeling down, come to me and I can help you out!

 Maria is a 30-year-old pro hero who is well-known in the San Francisco area, and loved by all. She is blonde/brunette (in-between) and her family is Cuban, although she was born in the Bay Area.

  • (Anxiously) He... he's back? But... I defeated him at Golden Gate... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

  • (Heroically) San Francisco is now safe once again! To any villains watching this broadcast, I think the footage of Blitz's defeat speaks for himself... YOU BETTER WATCH YOUR BACKS!

Blitzer is the most infamous villain in San Francisco, and was the long-time rival of Maria/Metronome.  He is mexican, wears a skull mask, with a day of the dead (dia de los muertos) inspired design, symbolic of the fact that he believes he is committing acts to honor his fallen ancestors, and he has built a cult following because of his public image and message. 

Voice actor should be able to speak English and Spanish, as the character will transition between the two. 

  • My dear supporters... Our ancestors were killed, and we continue to die because of our CORRUPT political system! We CANNOT continue with a government acting in the interest of itself! El Bombardeo IS THE SOLUTION! We shall force change in this city together!
