Project Overview

My husband and I joked about this months ago and I finally remembered to actually make it a thing.  For some reason, the thought of all the characters from Overwatch singing this song is awesome and hilarious to us haha.  So here's what I want to do.


I need a VA/singer for every hero!  And I want to make it a huge collab that I can release on YouTube, Soundcloud, etc. as a fun fan song cover. :D

    I'm going to keep this brief. I never should have jumped into such a big project that required skills I had never even practiced. This has been the biggest reminder to me that I needed to learn how to better judge how likely I would be to finish something before getting other people involved. Also, my entire account is kind of embarrassing to me, so I will be moving to a new one and trying to avoid making the same mistakes I did with this project. Please forgive me. I really do feel like a totally different person than I was three years ago.

  • Finally found a new song to use + important updates

    Okay, I owe everyone a bigger apology and an explanation for my unprofessional as heck behavior, but first: I think I want to use Symphony by Clean Bandit as the new song because it was the first one I really liked that actually had an instrumental x.x One more update before I get to my long-ass explanations: I think I need to cut a lot of roles and instead make the singers a team of six. I shouldn't have tried to make such a huge project for my first ever audio project, as well as trying to include every single Overwatch character. Trying to do that only makes the song feel dated because then later more characters come out and the song no longer includes everyone. Plus, it's far less straining on me to try and handle 6 voices instead of around 30 (heck I don't even know how many characters there are now - I haven't played Overwatch in a long time). I'm sorry for this, but I think it'll really help me finally get this project going. Finally: I want to apologize for my silence and lack of progress on this project. I was super hyped for it when I thought of it, but I have a very persistent tendency to forget about things I promised to do, and I thought I could get past that and make this happen. I'm not giving up just yet! But I really need to learn how to better manage my tasks, and I'm sorry to everyone who feels like I've abandoned this. I'm not nearly as responsible as I think, and it will surely take me many more months to combat this combination of laziness, forgetfulness, and procrastination. I just feel bad that this keeps happening for almost everything I do. I need help, but I also don't like being "nagged." I need a different way to get myself together. In the meantime, I do plan to go through the auditions (leaving the tab open again while I take care of other responsibilities) and choose people asap. Thanks again to everyone who's auditioned and been patient (or honestly, even impatient too, but thank you for being chill about it).

    For being such a bad host x'D. This is just a tiny side project, so I keep forgetting about it, unfortunately. I'm going to keep this tab up so I can start paying more attention to it. Sorry to anyone who has been worried about me abandoning this.

    It only occurred to me now that I don't think I can find an instrumental version of this song, and I do not have the musical skills to make one. Would anyone mind terribly if I changed the song? ^^; I have no idea what I would even change it to right now, but I want to make sure we can actually do this heheh.

  • Hey, I'm not dead!

    So sorry for kind of forgetting this several times x.x I do get emails, and I do plan on finishing it. I just get so occupied with tons of projects and I'm frankly not used to keeping up with audition stuff lol. ^^; But I have caught up with all the auditions so far and plan to start assigning the lines to each character soon. Also, quick question: Just out of curiosity, should I or should I not add Orisa? She wasn't out when I first made this.
