Project Overview
OUR PAST
Our past is set in the future, after a zombie apocalypse, it switches back and forth from present time and past. Revealing the characters past, and uncovering dark secrets that only you the viewer or the voice actor will know until the characters find out.
This story follows Lexi and Oscar and their group/family, as they navigate through this broken world. Lies will be uncovered. Trust will be shattered. And suddenly the zombies will seem like the least of their problems.
Lexi is ready to risk it all to find out how this started and reverse it, so she can get back to the life she knew. But is she sure she knows what she’s risking?
Oscar doesn’t want to. He wants to play it safe, protect the others and adapt to this new reality. But is that really why?
It's people VS beasts now.

Greetings! So, you’ve read the description and you’re ready to audition? Great! But first let’s go over a few ground rules.
REQUIRMENTS:
- You need to have a good mic.
- You need to be active.
- You need to have time.
- Be 13 up to 17 (there's an exception for older roles like parents and for younger roles such as children)
- Be active on casting call.
RULES!
- Be respectful.
- Be patient.
- Be committed.
- No cussing.
- Keep the conversation clean.
- Don't make fun of anyone.
- Send your lines in on time.
- Check casting call daily.
- You can audition for more than one role!
- And once more, I cannot stress this enough! Be active and committed.

Lexi is stubborn. Hard-headed and a problem solver. She normally hides her emotion especially fear and sadness and hides them under her rough, not-so-friendly behavior. She’s closed off especially to her loved ones. She thinks feelings get you hurt in a world like this. But she used to be the opposite once upon a time. She is the daughter of the leaders of the group.

(FEARFUL)
”Oscar! Get out of the way!”(DETERMINED)
”Then let’s go kill those ugly beasts.”(DISCOURAGED)
”What if this is all life is now? What if this is all we got left?”(IRRATED)
”Who said I needed you? I don‘t… I don’t need you. And I never will! So just buzz off—I can handle this on my own…Go home William! Now!”(BETRAYED)
”Are you freaking serious right now? I thought I could trust you…I thought I could trust you but you betrayed me! You lied to me! After all we’ve been through?…After I took you in and let you call me sister? After I called you family?”
Oscar is strong-willed and secretive, he normally thinks he's doing the right thing but truly, he never is. He's misguided. He always wants to take the safest route, and the easiest road out, not willing to take any risks, but he doesn't understand that some risks are needed. He's a little bit too emotional for his own good.
(TALKING TO LEXI)
"This isn't just about you! This is about all of us! We're all in this together. If you fail, then what happens to the rest of us? We need to go home...NOW!""I just thought...since you...you saved my life..."
(TALKING TO LEXI'S PARENTS)
"I think...I think, you might need to replace her. Put her on caretaking duty, or even farm keeping. I've been with her on runs, and she's reckless. She doesn't care about anyone's life, not even her own."(SCARED)
"Oh, God. What have I done?"
(RUNNING)
"I'M SORRY DIANA! BUT I CHOOSE SAVING THOUSANDS OF LIVES OVER ONE!"
Zoey is frail, she's soft-spoken, and she doesn't really have a backbone. She's lucky to have lived so long. She's a gem but she acts like a baby, but when it comes down to it, she'll have her friends backs.
(TALKING TO OSCAR)
"That's Lexi, I wouldn't talk to her if I were you. You just got here, and she doesn't take to new comers so easily, even if she did save you."(SOBBING)
"You have to forgive me! I--I didn't want to leave her! I really didn't! But I had to! Or I would've died!"(SCARED)
"W-w-w-w-what if...what...what if this is the end for all of us?...How are we gonna make it out of this alive....How..how..."
William is a caretaker. He's smart, he has a little bit of an ego, and he likes to be in charge, that's one of the biggest reasons why he started speaking to Lexi, because he knows that she's the leaders daughter, and it's easier to make suggestions and have them taken to her parents directly, especially if she puts in a good word. After some time he actually started to like her. He's the closest to Lexi.
(TALKING TO LEXI)
"Can't you just talk to your mom about it? I keep trying to talk to her but all she does is blow me off. If we don't handle this problem now, we're sure to die, and not by those beasts out there, but by the mole in here."(ARGUING WITH OSCAR)
"You just got here! What do you know about all of us? What do you know about any of us? Especially Lexi! You have no right! You have no right to get her pulled from being a runner!"(SNEAKING)
"I'm doing this for the greater good, Zoey. This has to be done. That Oscar kid is an infection in our own building. He's ruining everything."
Gabby is a engineer. She isn't exactly emotional but most of the time she's indifferent. She's another friend of Lexi's but not nearly as close as William.
(TICKED OFF)
"ZOEY! I TOLD YOU STOP MESSING AROUND WITH THAT, NOW LOOK WHAT YOU DID! YOU BROKE IT! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG THAT FREAKING TOOK ME? GOD-DANGIT ZOEY! JUST LEAVE."(TALKING TO LEXI)
"So, I've heard. William strongly dislikes him, and I can't tell if I agree with him, or not. That Oscar kid is a little..odd. I caught him sneaking around last night, in-fact he was right outside of your room door. Looked like he was looking for something."(NERVOUS)
"I..I don't...what's going on? Hey! I didn't do anything! I didn't do anything!"
Maxton is apart of Oscar's group. He's clumsy, but brave when it comes down to it, and willing to do anything for his friends.
(NERVOUS)
"I..I don't think we should be doing this, Oscar. This place has rules for a reason. We just got here."(FED UP)
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? EVER SINCE WE GOT HERE I'VE DONE EVERYTHING YOU ASKED ME! AND YOU JUST... YOU THREW ME UNDER THE BUS!"(SCARED)
(BREATHING HEAVILY)
"HELP! SOMEBODY PLEASE! HELP ME!"
Kit is apart of Oscar's little group. She's hardheaded, she's a smart-mouth, she's reckless and she's independent. She normally butts heads with Lexi, because they are alike. She likes Oscar.
(WHISPERING)
"I don't like this place, Oscar. The people here are...idiots. We'll die if we stay here too long."(TALKING TO LEXI)
"Ah, ah, ah, I'm not one of your followers princess, I'll cut you down within a blink of an eye."(ANGRY)
"COME AT ME! COME ON PRINCESS! LET'S GO! I'M SICK OF THAT MOUTH OF YOURS! IT'S TIME SOMEONE TAUGHT YOU A LESSON!"
He's a lot younger than Lexi and he's brutally honest.
(HYPER)
"Come at me! Come on! Let's go! Let's go you ugly beast! Come on Lexi!"(TALKING TO OSCAR)
"I hate you. I really don't like you."(WHINING)|
"THAT'S NOT FAIRRR!"
Diana is an old friend of
(TALKING WITH WILLIAM)
"I think there's a little more to the story than that."(AFRAID)
"Please...PLEASE! SOMEONE! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!"(WEAKLY)
"Remember....remember that time we...we...we went over to Jackson's house after he...he dumped you...and we threw eggs all over his new car.." (SAD LAUGH)
"Life was so much more simpler back then.."
Luke is a leader next to his wife. He's protective, a quick thinker, and a problems solver. All he really wans to do is protect his daughter.
(TALKING TO LEXI)
"No! No more reckless decisions! No more, running off and risking lives because you can't seem to see how important it is to protect our people! And I have a witness. Oscar, will you please come in here?"(TALKING TO MARIA)
"I love her to pieces, and I want her to be happy. But if the only way for her to be happy is killing herself, then I won't allow it."(MAKING AN ANNOUCEMENT)
"Supply runs are coming to a halt as of now. We need to focus on more important things. We have enough for now. Let's give the earth a chance to resupply while we rethink."
Maria is...well, she loves her daughter, but not enough. All she worries about is herself and her survival. People doubt her cause she is a woman and mostly look to Luke. Which may make her...a tad angry.
(TALKING TO LEXI)
"Oh, sweetheart. He just wants what's best for you. As do I."(TALKING TO LUKE)
"All she wants to do is solve this...get us back to normal. Can you blame her? After all she's lost--after all we've lost?"(TALKING TO OSCAR)
"Yes, yes I see this now...Do whatever you have to...kill her, if you must. Luke will be heartbroken, but it needs to be done."
Earl is a blacksmith, his daughter is Luna. He's a sweet guy.
(YELLING AT LUNA)
"LUNA! LUNA! GET BACK HERE!"
(TALKING TO LEXI)
"Yeah, Luna's a handful, but I'd rather die than lose her."
(LAUGH)
"She's my world."(CRYING)
"Take...take care of Luna for me....please..."
Luna is Earl's daughter and Jamie's friend.
(LAUGHING)
"Daddy! Daddy! Stop!"(TALKING TO JAMIE)
"Let's go get her!"(CRYING)
"Where's...where's daddy?!?"
Fin is a tough old man. Stuck in his old ways. He's a fighter though."
(TALKING TO OSCAR)
"Look kid, it's either kill or be killed. It's a cat eat, dog eat world kid. What? What do you mean I'm wrong?"(TALKING TO WILLIAM)
"Man up son! Go get your girl! And leave me alone to finish this....this...grape juice...off..."(A LITTLE SAD)
"It's been nice knowing ya kid."
