Project Overview
I need six unique voice actresses to portray one of the six main protagonists from my short stories collection, Forged Within Flame (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G5SHSMD) for an advertisement video. Each role only has six moderately short lines and each actress will be paid $5 for their work. This is a completely independent production, so we can only afford minimal payment, however any actress that is cast will be looked to as the go-to for future projects involving the collection, including a possible audio book which would have more substantial pay per role.
This job requires good-to-professional microphone quality.
What is important for this audition is the clarity of the microphone and the sound of your voice, not necessarily the words themselves, so demo reels will do just fine. If you wish to perform something else, feel free to post it, but for anyone those who just want to read some lines, we will provide for each characters three of the six lines from the advertisement script. These lines should be read as if the character were reciting a poem (brief character descriptions are provided to expound upon individual character portrayal).

The oldest of the main characters and one of the most calm among them. Is typically soft spoken and relaxed, though always keeping her language and speech crisp and clear. A more motherly sound, or like an older sister.

Second oldest of the main characters and the most spitfire of the group. Know for being brash and crass, Makoto talks with a far more casual cadence than anyone else and with confidence and conviction. She does, however, have a soft spot for people and places that are reverent towards religious faith or strong belief, and will often be more defensive and gentle with her language when those crop up. For the sake of this audition, consider this gentler side the goal. Her voice should have a scratchier timber to it, as it has been damaged after years of yelling (of both the good and bad variety).

The most bubbly and chipper of the main characters, though she does have an insecure side that can lead to crippling indecision. Her voice is relatively clean, relaxed, and casual, and should be of a decently high pitch.

The most proper of the main characters, raised to always speak politely and with perfect eloquence. Can be easily flustered when this polite facade is challenged in just the right way. Should have a medium-ranged voice.

The most energetic of the main characters and probably the one who could be considered the most tomboy. Is relatively laid back and occasionally crass, though usually only for comedic effect. Has deep depressive episodes when certain aspects of her life fail her leading to a more nihilistic and almost antagonistic attitude. Has a mid-ranged vocal pitch.

The outsider among the main characters, the girl who has no confidence about fitting in. Is quite timid, afraid to say her piece but is able to muster courage when given support from friends and assurance she's not alone. Voice has no real set pitch, though vocal cracks and breaks (due to social anxiety) are a plus!
