Project Overview
The Project
Cryptic College is a visual novel based dating simulator currently featuring eleven routes where each choice the player makes impacts the game in the long run. It takes place on a college campus and revolves around the player stumbling into the lives of eleven rather attractive boys and girls.
This a project that I've been working on for a little over a year now. I'm doing all of the artwork and coding, all I need is for you guys to bring your a-game when it comes to the voice acting.
This game is going to be relatively long (considering the number of routes) and will release with only a few of the route available. Other routes will be added over time, meaning that I will need you to be able to be committed to a very long term project.
There is also a Patreon for the project where certain tiers can earn special lines from voice actors and other things such as that, so your talent will be required for that as well.
What I'm Looking For
I'm looking for a group of voice actors who can provide their lines with the same level of passion for the project that I have. This is not a paid project, so all work will be done for the sake of making something great versus for the sake of pay. This is subject to change if the project takes off successfully, however there is no guarantee that it will.
Any actors we bring on board will be expected to provide their lines ON TIME! If you are unable to do so, you will first be warned and then be kicked off the project if you continue to be unable to deliver your lines.
I'm looking for actors with good microphones with little to no background noise.
I'm also looking for actors who can bring a large range of emotion. There will be bad endings in this game, meaning that some characters will cry or get angry. Show me that you can harness your emotions and turn them into something great.
This game will also contain some bad language, references to sex and mental illness and other adult themes.
Discord
I will be using Discord to communicate with you so it is very important that you have one. There will be a special server set up just for the project. I want this to be a friendly environment, so no toxicity towards each other will be tolerated.

James Holland is 21 years old and basically just a giant teddy bear. He is very sensitive, despite what his stature and looks might make you think, and when he gets hurt, it takes him a while to recover. But those he loves, he loves fiercely. For his voice actor, I'm looking for someone who can pull off a deeper, gruff voice but carry soft and heartfelt emotions.
{After hugging someone too tightly} Oh- I’m sorry! Did that hurt? Are you okay?
{Trying to control his anger after someone hurt his friend} I really- REALLY don’t think you understand how big of a mistake you just made.
{Heartbroken} Are-are you serious? Is this really what's going to make you happy? I'm not questioning your choice, I know you're smart it's just... I really thought it was going to be us together until the very end. I really thought you loved me.
Raya is a relatively intense character. She has her joking moments and her kind moments, but overall she rides a very thin line between mean and intense.
(Caught off guard by a compliment) Oh umm... thank you, but you really don’t need to say things like that to me...
(Caught her friend doing something stupid // being mean but not too serious about it) Do you have any idea how ridiculously stupid you look? You are an absolute mongoloid of a human.
(Confessing her feelings) I like you. That’s just how it is. If you don’t like me back, I get it. But I’m still going to like you.
The professor is very uptight and likes to keep a solid grip on their class. I do not have a specific gender in mind, so anyone is welcome to audition
(Demanding attention) Students! Listen up please!
(Explaining a project to the class) This project will account for 50% of your final grade. I expect you all to take it very seriously.
(Annoyed with a students antics) No, Okawa. I've already decided groups, you will not be getting to choose your own.
I'm looking for a number of voice actors to act as female extras. These extras will range anywhere from obsessed fangirls, to caring family members. I will be casting a number of different people who audition for this
(Jealous over someone talking to the person they like) Back off! Clearly they don't like you.
(Talking about themselves very confidently and almost conceited) Everyone knows I'm the prettiest girl at this school. Obviously he would choose me.
(Caring, understanding) Hey it's okay. I know that things like this can be difficult, but we're all here to help you get through it.

(Remorseful father figure) I'm sorry for the things I've done. Is there anyway you can forgive me?
