He is the mayor of the run down town and he has tried many times to bring the town back to how it was before but has failed many times and now he doesn't have much hope.
Mayor) But that’s been passed down our family, it’s a family emblem! (Distressed)
Mayor) Well, we’ve just got to hope. (Lost hope)
Mayor) Hmmmmm *really thinking hard about it* *sighs* well, I wouldn’t normally agree to this but you're our only hope to ever live a normal life and to keep our ship.
He is the mayor's assistant, he helps the mayor with decisions and running the town.
Mayor's assistant) Mayor, we’re going to have to sell the ship! (Dreading to tell him the news)
Mayor’s assistant) I’m sorry but if it still has no use by next week we’ll be forced to sell it and everything inside it! (Distressed)
Mayor’s assistant) I got them all, except for Simon’s parents and erm Liz’s parents (awkwardly) (This is awkward because Liz is an orphan and Simon's parents don't love him)
Kieran is the main character who gets the crew together and he is the captain of the ship.
Kieran) I’m sick of living life this way! (Screaming)
Kieran) We will sail off in the ship with the cutlasses inside and we’ll become pirates. Hunting hidden treasures and stealing artifacts and jewelry from villages and towns to bring back this town's money. (Heroically)
Kieran) *Puts his arm round Simon’s shoulder* Don’t worry we’ll take good care of you. (Caringly)
Simon is the smart one of the crew he is the most intelligent person in the town.
Simon) I try so hard to make my family proud, I even became the most intelligent person in the town and they still aren’t proud of me, I bet if I brung the town out of poverty they would finally be proud of me! (Inside his head)
Simon) How do you know that? (Scared)
Simon) I’ll read the map and tell the captain where we’re going! (Excitedly)
Cindy is always happy and has a spring in her step she lightens up everyone's day even Liz's
Cindy) My skill is stealth! (Extatically)
Cindy) No way that’s awesome! (Really excited)
Cindy) I’ll do the sail! (Excitedly)
Liz lost her parents in the town raid that made the town go broke since that day she has had no emotion and has been in a constant state of depression. (If the audition is too long for you it's fine if you only do the first line)
Liz) 5 years ago this was a happy, thrithing town until tons of raiders attacked and stole almost all the money completely crashing our economy. It’s funny how happiness and everyday life can just be killed off in seconds, earth is a dark,dark place full of sorrow and evil and it took my parents, ever since that day my life has been grey. No emotion, no happiness, an empty dark void sucking up every little bit of happiness that is left in me. I wish this town could return to how it was before, I know there must be some way of bringing this town out of poverty. (Inside her head)
Liz) Because of the way you talk and do things I could tell you desperately wanted to make someone proud and that would most likely be your parents. (Emotionlessly)
Liz) I see. (Emotionlessly)
She is Kieran's caring mother she has lost hope in getting the town back to how it was before but her son gives her that hope back.
Kierans mum) I’m sorry kieran, we’ve both scavenged for hours, all we can do is hope for food. (Lost hope in getting food)
Kierans mum) Kieran we all are! (Trying to calm Kieran down)
Kierans mum) Kieran that’s really risky! (outraged) But, you do have the skill and your Stock’s only hope for us to live a normal life so I guess you should set up a stand and start gathering your team.(acknowledging that it’s a good idea)
This cat plays a minor role in the start of the series but later on she plays a major role.
Penny) meow! (Excitedly)
Penny) It’s nice to see you too, kieran. How’s the scavenging going? (Desperately hoping they found lots of food)
Penny) Oh I was hoping you found lot’s so I could’ve had a bit, because I’ve found hardly anything either.(Sad)
This is the narrator.
Narrator) In the year 1555 there was a village called Stock that was completely broke and it had a population of 200 people. 70% of the population was practically homeless and if you were lucky enough to have a house it would be in terrible condition, no one was rich, everyone was poor and everyone was sick of living this way but no one tried to do anything about it except for four teanagers and their names were Simon, Cindy, Liz and Kieran.
