Project Overview
Hughes College is an original animation series, directed by BlxssomVA alongside co-directors OzzyMCVO and EveAuraVA. Help us make our story come to life! Our team are planning to create a Kickstarter in order to grow our crew and deliver as many episodes to you as we can. Payment will be provided if we manage to reach our mini goals and hopefully our overall, ultimate goal.

Not so much; with dark secrets, a psychotic love-sick puppet and even murderous parties - mystery unfolds as the truth about this college is gradually revealed...Well, what else do you expect from college?

There are a few roles available with all requirements and further information below. Read all requirements.
REQUIRMENTS:
1) Please have both an email address and discord where I can contact you and where we can exchange work. List your email and discord account before submitting your audition.
2) This project is PG13, so please be 15 or older when applying for these positions.
3) DO NOT apply if you are going to quit half way through, we need someone who is dedicated, has good time management and can get things done by deadlines.
4) We want someone willing to redo things if needed and someone with a positive approach to this work. It will take time so patience is vital!
For work samples, we accept all kinds eg Devian Art, YouTube etc. As long as it shows off your abilities! Episodes will be posted on YouTube. Prices WILL be discussed when and if the time comes, but please be patient and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to private message me. This is also a student made project which is why we want you guys to share this anywhere you can, it'd mean a lot! ♡
The making of this trailer will be unpaid since that'll be what brings in the income (hopefully). Once the trailer is posted, our job will be to share the Kickstarter in order to advertise it and bring as many potential donators as possible.
The prices listed ARE NOT final. If you are cast, your rates will be discussed but please remember, for now, this is a low budgeted project so I cannot offer a lot without the kickstarter. Payment will be delivered through Paypal.

Deadline Pushed Back
Heya! Apologies for this but the deadline HAS been pushed back to October 31st, our character design artist needs extra time to complete the remaining main cast which is completely fine! So keep them auditions coming. Also, when auditioning, please show work with examples of what has been asked; showing your character art is NOT what we're looking for if you're applying for a location designer or storyboard artist. We need examples of your storyboards or location designs, not character art.

As a storyboard artist, you will be expected to help us create visual representation of what I, as the writer, had in mind for our animator to create. You need to be flexible with your style, this isn't an overly complicated series, we want enough details but nothing simple like stick figures. Please provide as many examples as you wish of your work.
If you have the ability and skills, feel free to apply for both storyboard artist and animator since it makes your life easier since you'll be working by yourself.

As our animator, you will be expected to provide around 10-18 minutes per episode, you will be given as much time as you need to work with the storyboard artist and given as much guidance as possible, especially from directors. Please have a flexible style and again, we're not looking for anything overly complicated but nothing such as Gacha or stick figures.
This role is vital and will obviously getting paid more than the rest of the roles. Animating for us includes: keyframes, clean up animation, colouring etc. So if you do feel like this would be a challenge by yourself, we can always arrange you to work with someone else.
If you have the ability and skills, feel free to apply for both storyboard artist and animator since it makes your life easier since you'll be working by yourself.

For this role, I need a person who is capable of designing things like buildings, landscapes etc. This is slightly different from a background artist because it's mainly places we need to know the layout for such as the school building. We'll need front views, side views and rear views, this includes sketches of buildings from a plan view. Please be able to adapt to different styles of art!

For the role, we need someone who is able to create music from my ideas. You will be expected to produce different genres of music such as sombre, upbeat, emotional even party songs. You need to be able to do smooth loops too. Tracks will vary in length, anything longer than 3 minutes will pay more than anything under.

As our logo designer, your role will be to create banners that will be used to promote the project. You will need to be able to draw BACKGROUNDS as well as PEOPLE. We're looking for a fun artstyle. There will be a fair amount of components in the banners so please only apply if you're okay with this. You will be paid $40 per banner through PayPal!
Please only share works that show off your variety in poses and styles if you can!
