"A Springlock Failure" is an animated series based on Scott Cawthon's Five Nights at Freddy's franchise. Piecing together information from the games and details from the books, A Springlock Failure aims to tell a more cohesive version of the original FNAF story, making characters with clear personalities and motives.
As opposed to just a retelling of the story, (as you may have seen from the trailer), the story will be pulling from the modern era of FNAF to create its own continuation of the story.
All scriptwriting and animation is being done by me, as well as a majority of the voice acting. Many important characters already have been cast, with only characters listed in the casting call being important human(ish) characters without assigned voices.
(For anybody skimming this description, no you CANNOT audition for William Afton, Michael Afton, Elizabeth, etc.)
Episodes are most likely going to average length, though the series does take a more "Audio Drama" style when it comes to dialogue. Many characters will have long, possibly multi-minute monologues at one point or another, and screaming is very likely to be needed for most characters.
This series will be uploaded to the SolidSilv3r YouTube channel, and VAs could be called upon for future seasons of "A Springlock Failure", or other FNAF fan projects, such as a reformatting of the show to a nonvisual or interactive medium (Audio Dramas or Video Games).
This is a deeply psychological series, and dives into mature territory, so we need voice actors who can give emotion as well as people who can handle true horror media: The psychedelic, the grotesque, and the macabre.
FINAL NOTE:
I am still in high school and have a constantly moving life, so the time allocated to this project fluctuates depending on my schedule. If you cannot deal with going multiple weeks to months without working and then coming back to this project, this is not for you. This is a LONG TERM project.
I have extended the deadline by about 2 weeks, in hopes of getting more traction for the casting call (especially since not every character has even a single audition), so if anyone is interested in this project, I encourage you to share it around!

Crying Child (On the brink of tears [obviously]): They're so scary...they...they eat people, I saw one, it-ATE a person alive...
Crying Child / Shadow Freddy (Two takes overlayed): Isn't this what you wanted father? For me to be alive again? I helped you. I did it. I gave them to you. You can keep using their Remnant to try and bring me back. That's what you wanted, right? An obedient child? Are you...proud of me?
(The voice of the Crying Child phases in and out, overlayed and standing out only for one or two sentences at a time) Nightmare : I remember you. You made me into this, and I shall devour your every dream. You couldn't let go of me, father. And now even the memories of your fractured child have left you. Now you have chosen to experience firsthand the magnitude of your own malice. Your nightmares shall only be of me, and slowly, bit by bit, I will devour the very heartbeat of your soul. Your dark, blackened soul. And one day, there will be nothing left but the man who dignified his murder spree with the death of his child. But you know that's not quite true, is it? You've tried to keep it contained-to keep *him* contained-but deep down, your soul was poisoned the moment you tried to play God. You have fallen from grace, and now, are the Lucifer of your own story.
The voice would preferably match the in-game voice, but I am not at all against more of a voice from the FNAF Movie

A voice actress of color would be preferred, but not necessarily required. Her time as protagonist is going to be split with Jeremy near the end of season 1.

Jeremy plays a pivotal role in the later installments of the FNAF series, as well as being linked to its beginnings. He is going to share the protagonist role with Cassie near the end of season 1.
Two voice actors are needed, one for an older Jeremy (as seen in Help Wanted 2) who should sound around his late 50's, and one for a younger version from FNAF 4 and FNAF 2.
