VAs Needed for Webtoon: Wake the Will
Project Overview
Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story as its only creator. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for four voice actors to play two one-off characters and two Summons, cards played by characters in the story.
-These episodes are videos posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to promote the Webtoon, giving it life with voice acting, music, and occasional animation.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. There are currently 62 episodes published on Webtoon, with the series actually complete and scheduled for weekly releases every Friday at 3 PM EST.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Vanguard, or Shadowverse. Feel free to take a look at my Webtoon if you are in need for more context:

Brief One-Off: (Age 21) Max is seen very briefly, getting eliminated from the server by the protagonist, Karmen. (The lines below are his only lines. If you nail it there, I'll simply just use your audition lines for the actual episode and you won't have to do anything else. An ideal role for someone who doesn't want to commit.)
Personality: While we see him, he's panicked as he's being eliminated. Under normal circumstances, he's sly and a scumbag.
Voice: Looking for a young male adult voice. Medium range. I need you to be panicking and afraid for your life.

Moderate Summon: Leoud is used quite often by Crystal, who has 1 battle in Arc 1, and battles often in the rest of the story. (If you nail the audition, I will simply use the recording for all episodes you premiere in. You won't have to do anything else.)
Card Lore: A vocal lion, often having the misfortune of stepping on sharp objects. He lets the world know once he does, as he lets out a loud cry.
Personality: In pain
Voice: I'm looking for a male teen or young adult voice that can really cry out loud in pain.

Minor Summon: Sun's Ray is really only used by Blitz, who only has one on screen battle. (If you nail the audition, your recording will just be used for any episodes you premiere in. You don't have to do anything else.)
Card Lore: She's a young sorceress, whose wand is powered by sunlight. She uses her magic to reveal hidden objects.
Personality: Sun's Ray has an innocent demeanor, always wearing a smile.
Voice: I'm looking for a young female adult or female teen voice with a sweet voice.

Personality: She's a very outgoing teenage girl, who throws around a lot of phrases that kids in high school would say in the late 2000s.
Voice: I'm looking for a young female adult or female teen voice. Think popular teenage girl that's preppy and confident.
