One Last Kiss

Project Overview

Grief-stricken and desperate, a young woman ventures deep into the forest to beg a coven of witches for one impossible thing: a final moment with the knight she loved and lost. Through smoke and spellcraft, they grant her wish — but nothing from the dead returns without a cost.

One Last Kiss is an original animated short film steeped in bittersweet fantasy and emotional weight. With themes of love, loss, memory, and magic, the story unfolds like a fairytale turned ghost story. Tender, tragic, and beautifully haunting.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are assembling a passionate and emotionally attuned creative team:

✧ Artists (Character/Promo)

  • Comfortable with soft fantasy aesthetics: witches, ruins, misty woods, glowing enchantments.

  • Able to create expressive character designs and moody promotional visuals.

  • Ideal for artists who love romantic visuals with an eerie, melancholic edge.

✧ Voice Actors

  • Esme – Soft-spoken, grief-stricken, able to cry convincingly.

  • Gabriel – Gentle tone, can shift into a distant, hollow presence.

  • The Witches – Scratchy, inhuman, cryptic. One general voice type for all three.

✧ Animators

  • You’ll be working with another animator to bring this ghostly short to life.

  • Looking for those comfortable with slow, emotional pacing and fantastical movement.

  • Any experience with ethereal effects (smoke, light, shadow) is a huge plus!

Commitment & Details:

  • This is a passion-driven short film with plans for festival entry and crowdfunding.

  • Deferred payment: All contributors will be credited and paid upon monetization.

  • Flexible and respectful deadlines — we value well-being and collaboration.
